First Lumineth Realm-lords Products Hit GW Warehouses

realm-lords-wal-horThe first official products for the Lumineth Realm-lords look to have hit GW’s Warehouses already. Here’s what we know so far…

Just like with the Bonereapers, GW has already pulled the curtain back on some of the faction upfront. We’ve seen Teclis get his new model as well as some different forms of infantry/cavalry. With that said, we’ve also just seen some dice hit the port in a recent manifest which begs the question: “Just how big will their release be?”.

Lumineth Realm-lords Kits Revealed

Vanari Auralan WardensThese hearken back to the High Elf Spearmen that made up many a classic Warhammer army, and they’re packed with rich detail never previously thought possible.

Vanari DawnridersThe Vanari Dawnriders are filled with grace and movement that make them instantly eye-catching on the battlefield.

EltharionThe Light of Eltharion sees one of the most legendary heroes of this ancient race return with a truly stunning new miniature. Look closer – that armour is hollow.

Teclis lvo 2020For years, this mage has graced tabletops, books, video games and, of course, your imagination in all manner of guises. Now, in 2020, Teclis returns with a model truly worthy of a god.

While the Lumineth Realmlords are “technically” new, Teclis has had a model in the past. However, GW basically brought Aelves back in a different way, giving them a “new army” status with all the upcoming kits as well as a brand new faction name.

Lumineth Realmlords Dice Spotted in Port!

lumineth realmlords diceLooking at one of the latest developments on the faction, some Lumineth Realmlords dice were spotted headed towards GW’s US warehouse in a carton of sixty sets. Of course, we know that dice are one of the most common things we see roll around with a brand new faction release. But it also makes us wonder if they’ll get a terrain piece or Endless Spells.

ogorYou might remember factions in the past like Ogors getting a terrain piece, however, no models for any Endless Spells. Conversely, there are the Slaves to Darkness that got Endless Spells but no terrain piece. Even still, we’ve seen some factions like the Gloomspite Gitz and Ossiarch Bonereapers get both.

Ossiarch Bonereapers armySpeaking of Ossiarch Bonereapers, who happen to be the latest faction to hit AoS to be built from the ground-up, they got a huge range of kits including different options for rank-and-file dudes, more elite units, some artillery, a terrain piece, endless spells, dice, and a host of new characters. To put it shortly, they got the works.

There’s still some grey area as to what the Realmlords will be getting. However, with some painted units as well as dice spotted, there might have been their faction terrain piece also hidden in plain sight.

Lumineth Realmlords Terrain Piece Spotted?

Teclis lvo 2020Going back to Teclis for a minute, on his mount, there is a small garden of bonsai trees. Looking at the earlier rumor engine from above, we’ve got an exact match.

However, there’s more to the story as another rumor engine came out with the same kind of bonsai tree vibe.

rumor engine 2-11-2020The new tree above looks to be on a cliff face, whereas the one on Teclis’ base is definitely on some ruins.

lumineth realm-lords terrain rumor engineFrom the video preview at LVO, you can see that other trees appear on the terrain around him, so perhaps we’re looking at a terrain kit incoming for the Realm-lords as well? If they do get a terrain piece, who knows what kind of bonuses it’ll give. If it is something like a few rocks with some trees growing out of the sides, it’ll probably just have something to do with a magic bonus perhaps?

Possible Lumineth Realm-lords Imported Accessories On the Way

  • Warscroll Cards: Unconfirmed
  • Terrain Set: Unconfirmed, assumed to exist.
  • Endless Spells: Unconfirmed

As we’ll ultimately have to wait patiently to see what unfolds for the Realm-lords and Sons of Behemat, we can all agree that things are seriously revving up in Age of Sigmar.

If Sons of Behemat get released around the time of the Lumineth Relamlords, who will you be siding with? What kind of rules would you like to see the Realmlords get?

Does AoS need a low model army like Gargants that can contend with hordes?
