Exclusive 40k Catachan Colonel Sprue Pics!

The Exclusive 40k Catachan Colonel is officially here, so it’s time to check out what the sprue inside of the box looks like!

Games Workshop announced that they were sending a handful of Colonel models to stores. Letting them keep 100% of the profit. Since then, we’ve seen stores only get one or two. To avoid feels badsies in the local community, many retailers have thrown their model on eBay, with prices skyrocketing.

Now, some lucky hobbyists have gotten their hands on the model and we can see even more pics of the detail.

It’s been making steady rounds across the web at this point, but coming what looks to be originally from a Facebook 40k Group, we’ve got pics of the sprue.

As far as characters go, there are actually a bunch of pieces to work with. For the most part, we’ve seen characters assembled in about four pieces. However, because of the scenic base, there are quite a few bits to go along with this T3 commander.

Looking at the front side of the sprue, you also might have noticed that there are two head options. (#5 and #6).

predator dillonNo matter which head option you go with because the model itself is so broken up, there’s the potential for some really sweet conversions. If you can stomach the risk of splicing bits from a kit that’s gone between $50-$500 on eBay, of course…

Oh, and if you fancy a cloaked clear plastic Predator mini to go with your new Colonel, we got you covered here.

With all of this covered, are you surprised that the model is so broke up bitwise? Will you be trying your hand at converting him if you can grab one? Which head option will you go with?
