Indomitus Skorpekh DestroyersBuilding a Necron 40k army but want your minis for less, well then you are in luck! Check out these bundles to help you get started on your army.

Necrons are shaping up to get an exciting release in Psychic Awakening. On top of new rules, we’ve also got a Szeras model and some insane pictures of an all-new Necron faction overhaulWe’ll be taking a look at some of the Necron bundles out there that you still may be able to find.

Also, note that these prices have been re-adjusted to fit the new GW price hike.

necron warrior

necron big gunIMPORTANT: As we go over some solid Necron bundles that you still might be able to find, it’s important to note that Warriors are getting a new kit taking the green plastic tube from their gun out of the equation. You’ll want to consider the fact that your Warriors will be outdated when the new models drop.

2018 Necron Battleforce: Dominion Spearhead $170

necron boxStarting, this one might be the hardest bundle to find for the Necrons. This box was released just before the holidays in 2018 and after doing a quick search online, it’s pretty dry. However, you may be able to find these at your LGS or some kind of swap meet if you’re lucky. With that said, there’s some decent stuff inside:

  • 1x Doomsday Ark $55
  • 3x Tomb Blades $49
  • 1x Canoptek Spyder $38
  • 12x Warriors $40
  • 5x Deathmarks $38
  • 5x Immortals $38
  • 1x Overlord $28

Total MSRP$286
Total Savings: $116

Necrons Outrider Bundle $170

Next up, we’ve got the Necron Outrider Detachment that hit the shelves back when 40k’s Apocalypse was released. These boxes had entire detachments all wrapped up in one box with some pretty useful units overall. Looking at the Necrons, they’ve got:

  • 1x Cryptek $35
  • 6x Wraiths $110
  • 6x Tomb Blades $98
  • 1x Doomsday Ark $55

Total MSRP: $298

Total Savings: $128

Start Collecting! Necrons $90 (No Longer Available Online)

Necron Start CollectingBefore we jump into this one, it’s important to note that this bundle has been marked as “Sold out online” meaning GW won’t be refilling it. It makes sense now that Necrons are getting completely reworked. Just keep in mind that if you do buy this, there are outdated models in here and you’ll only be able to find it from other sources outside of Games Workshop.

  • 1x Annihilation Barge $48 (Can also be built as Catacomb Command Barge using the Lord on-foot).
  • 5x Necron Immortals $38
  • 10x Necron Warriors $40
  • Necron Overlord $28

Total Cost: $154
Total Savings: $64

In this day and age, building a 40k army kit by kit will make your wallet cry actual tears. If you’re building up from nothing, you may want to heavily consider shopping smart and looking for deals to get the most for your money. As we know that 90% of the existing Necron army is getting reworked, the best buy is probably the Apocalypse Outrider bundle in terms of model longevity.
