Incredible 40k Baneblade Train Conversion!

Baneblade-trainThere’s a monster 40k conversion that’s been done that you just have to see, check out this multi-kit Baneblade train! Chooo Chooooo!

From Black Thumb Commission Studios, they’ve just made a multi-part Baneblade kit that looks like it came straight out of one of the great wars. We see conversions all the time, but rarely do they have a price tag as high as this one!

Be sure to follow them on Instagram too here: black_thumb_studio.

Black thumb Studio Commissions: 40k Baneblade Train Showcase

We’ve got the video that you can check out for yourself. Watch it a couple of times and try to keep track of all the Imperial Guard kits that were sacrificed to make this one behemoth of a unit.

baneblade train 1Starting at the back and moving up to the front, the train’s rear is a retro-fitted artillery platform with dual cannons. Just look at the size of the shell that these things lob.

baneblade train 2Next, there’s two more Baneblade chassis that have been spliced together to make a loading cart for some Chimeras.

baneblade train 3Moving up to the business-end of the train, there’s one absolutely massive main cannon that looks like it can level anything it points at. Seriously, By looks alone, this would give a Volcano Cannon a run for its money. It’s also conveniently tall enough to see over any kind of building to dash the hopes of any knights trying to stay out of sight.

baneblade train 4Like any other Baneblade, the train is littered with Lascannon/Heavy Bolter sponsons to help keep the train from being swarmed.

Looking at the unit as a whole, the areas where multiple kits have been spliced together are seamless. The pain job is sweet too, rocking the classic Imperial Guard jungle camo. Commissars from all around are probably requesting one of these in their force.
