King Of Malifica Creature Caster Unboxing

resplendent King Of MalificaThis King of Malifica is the Resplendent version, it’s 51 pieces, and just enormous! It will be about $149 and worth every penny! What an insane mini.

Ascendant King Of Malifica This is the Ascendant version of the King Of Malifica. A monster in its own right! Just a little bit smaller than the other version but it’s still immaculate. This guy will run about $119.

The Bits!

Ascendant Bits

Ascendant Bits 2They are very well wrapped and protected and nothing was broken or missing. You can see just how many pieces this thing comes with and this is the smaller one! The base is the 100mm size, so will fit perfectly with your exalted daemon size.

Ascendant base

Ascendant BitsYou are going to need their manual for this one! There are just so many pieces. It’s hard to focus on any one piece and know where it goes! The build looks like it will take up to two hours and most people are leaving the pillars off the base to paint it.

Resplendent Bits 3These are all the extra bits for the larger model. They have streamlined their shipping process by keeping all the parts for both minis together. So when you get either mini, you will get a bag of all the parts that work for both. This just makes things run smoother and easier. Not only for them but for us as well. You can tell by them taking steps like this they are trying to take their company to the next level. Makes it easier for us to get behind.

Resplendent bits close up 2They have really put in the extra effort to make these look incredible! One nice thing about the wings is they are not over-sized, look like they will fit the mini perfectly.

Assembled Ascendant King Of Malifica 3This mini is so insanely detailed! Because of just how much is going on, we’re going to see such a wide variety of paint jobs on this. Some of their other minis are kind of made for a certain scheme, this one though, just do anything you can imagine. It’s going to be a beast to paint, that’s for sure! Don’t be scared, we’d love to see what you come up with for this.

It’s always fun to see such detailed minis. Let’s take a look now at the bigger one!

Resplendent Completed 3

Resplendent Completed 2There is so much going on here. This thing is just impressive, massive, and fun! Rob had a hard time getting the whole thing in the frame! Hard to imagine a model with more thought put into it. Just like the other version, we are going to see a wide variety of paint jobs on this monster. For those of you looking for a new gigantic project, well here you go.

Everywhere you look is just detailed beyond belief. Even the base is chock full of detail. Just the little demons running around the mini are more detailed than some entire models.

Size Comparisons

Ascendant Size ComparisonThe good old Marine comparison. This is perfectly sized for a Greater Daemon. Easily towers over the puny human.

King Of Malifica size comparisonsWhen compared to one another, the Resplendent version is just much more imposing. The body is the same but all the added bits really bring it to a whole new level. If you want to go as big as possible, the Resplendent is the way to go!

That does it for this unboxing! Both models are insanely detailed and just plain awesome! We can’t wait for these to be released!
