If you want the new Warhammer Day Chaplain you better get to your local store early as it looks like some stores are getting allocated.
If you don’t remember, the last exclusive Chaplain was selling for $500 on the secondary market. That wasn’t just listed prices either, people were actually paying that! So if you want this mini, don’t wait. While it seems insane for someone ever to pay that price, if you want the mini, you have to pay what the market says it’s worth.
We have seen some of these exclusive minis go for a ton, but the Chaplain was the highest. With limited numbers of the new ones going to each independent stockist store, we are wondering just how many of the Chaiplans will be available online. It also looks like you will be able to preorder through GW’s online store, but no idea on the fulfillment date for those…
Warhammer Day Chaplain Model Highly Allocated To Stores
Here is the new mini, not too different looking from the old collector’s edition but still pretty cool. Regardless of the mini people seem to go crazy for the exclusive minis, especially Space Marine ones! If the Indomitus release gave us any indication, getting this mini could be hard and you may have to get on the site early or get to the store first thing. Or, who knows, maybe they have thousands of these ready to go. Again, they said there will be some more orders possibly available, we just don’t know when they will be released.
Chaplain Tarentus will be available in stores and online from Warhammer Day itself until the 8th of November – so make sure to order yours while you can!

Several games stores have confirmed that GW is allocating this new Chaplain model to 5 per independent stockist (store), which means demand will surely outstrip supply, just like with Indomitus.

The Old Collector Chaplain
Here is the old collector edition mini. A fairly similar look, but most people seem to like the old one more.
If you missed out on it and need a Chaplain, don’t miss out on the new mini. For those planning on getting it from your closest store, good luck. If you’re buying it online, well, also good luck. Hopefully, we’re totally wrong and they will send more out to stores, and getting them online will be easy!
After the Indomitus debacle, here’s to hoping GW comes though for hobbyists once again.
