While Total War: Warhammer 3 has been revealed, these new renders give us an idea of just how cool the game may actually be.
Before we dive into the render images, let’s quickly recap everything we’ve seen. After all, it’s been a few months since any update on progress made by Creative Assembly.
Kislev & Cathay Coming In Total War: Warhammer 3
Back in February, Warhammer Community revealed the new trailer and a whole bunch of info on the game. One of the most interesting parts, to us at least, is the game is being advised by the same team who is making Warhammer the Old World. So that bodes well for both games if you ask us.
The game from Creative Assembly/ SEGA will focus on the Boyars of Kislev and the Daemons of Chaos as you’ll be able to play with the followers of any of the major four gods. It looks like they will be the major factions playable at launch. One of the earlier playable factions will also be Cathay, who haven’t had their time in the sun for many, many years!
So maybe after you conquer the north, you’ll move your way to the warmer realms and face your enemies there. Let’s check it out!
First Official Trailer Drops for Total War: Warhammer 3
The trailer opens in the icy realms of Kislev where things don’t look like they’re going too well for the humans.
Then we get to see the leader of Kislev, Tzarina Katarin, being told she has no choice but to fight the evils of Chaos.
All the four gods make an appearance, but Nurgle looks the coolest to us! They have been feeding on the vices of Kislev and getting stronger.
Nothing wrong with riding some armored polar bears to battle! Let’s just hope they don’t get too hungry on the trail and eat some of your own units…
They have their work cut out for them! As the forces of Khorne are nothing to be trifled with. We all know Bloodcrushers are just downright scary.
The Bloodletters are wreaking havoc on the lines of Kislev, but their resolve looks like it will hold.
The trailer culminates with a crazy battle between Tzarina Katarin and a Bloodthirster! Who doesn’t want to see that battle?

Chaos Renders Spotted For New Total War: Warhammer 3
Spotted over on Reddit, it looks like we may have gotten an unofficial reveal for Total War: Warhammer III! These include two renders for Chaos that look extremely convincing. Supposedly, these are taken straight from the trailer and rendered by Platige Image, who uses this method.
First up there is a Warrior of Khorne, who is seen in the trailer charging into battle on top of furious Bloodcrushers. Different than normal Warrior of Chaos, these have an especially brutal outlook on methods and goals.
The second image is of a Keeper of Secrets, which appears when Tzarina Katarin has a vision of each of the 4 Chaos factions. Keeper of Secrets is the greater Daemon of Slaanesh, meaning they are especially powerful and more often than not, order and command large swathes of respective forces from their patron.
Any way you slice it, hobbyists and video gamers alike are excited for the latest incarnation of what used to be the tabletop game.
