Three Warhammer 40k army lists dominated the recent Comic Quest July RTT with one going undefeated over the weekend!
The Comic Quest July RTT is over and now we’re able to look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what the winners brought in their armies.
Top 3 40k Army Lists From the Comic Quest July RTT

3rd Place: Anthony Cohen- Space Wolves
2nd Place: Mike McTyre- Drukhari

1st Place: Jason McKenzie- Ad Mech
Starting off with a slightly unique choice, Jason actually takes an Inquisitor! These can serve as very cheap models with a decent amount of flexibility. As for HQs he opted for Cawl, a Marshal, and an Enginseer. As one of the leaders for Ad Mech, Cawl offers a ton of valuable auras and abilities that make him an easy include in a lot of lists.
The Marshal is pretty cheap and onto of it can provide rerolls to nearby units. The Enginseer is tried and true as a consistent healer for your more important vehicles.
Troops see the inclusion of 10 Vanguards and 5 Rangers, as the cheapest options, they help round out the battalion and add a few extra bodies for blocking or grabbing objectives.
Moving onto Elites, the Datasmith, can help keep the Kastelan robots topped off, which we will touch on with the Heavy Supports. The second Elite are 10 Ruststalkers who have pretty decent melee options in a faction that typically doesn’t have any.
Fast Attacks bring with it 16 Raiders, who serve as fantastic harass units with ok range and great mobility for a low cost. The last Fast Attack is the very hard-hitting Dragoons who are pretty unmatched at their price point, making them great options for most lists.
As for Heavy Supports as mentioned earlier, Kastelan Robots can be healed by the Datasmith, which you’ll want them to because they bring pretty good ranged options and a great melee weapon when the time comes to slap some units. The Disintegrator provides a good ranged weapon for little investment that’s great at taking out Marine squads.
The last model is a Fusilave, harassing units from the sky and being able to help take out weak units while zipping around the field to wherever it is needed most.
