The Games Workshop Warhammer collectible coins promotion has produced dozens of designs; here’s a checklist for all of them so far!
It’s been years since the promotion started, and we have seen over two dozen collectible Warhammer coins from Games Workshop. If you are going to try to collect them all, keep in mind the coin holder only has 12 spots, so that you may need more than one! For those that haven’t heard about the program, here are some quick details:
How Does The Warhammer Collectible Coin Promotion Work?
It started in November 2020 with the Witch Aelves; when you spend $100 at your local GW store, you get the monthly coin (while supplies last). There is also generally a free Warhammer miniature to scoop up as well.
Free! Every month, you’ll be able to pick up a new model at no cost, themed around one of the month’s releases.
With the epic new Broken Realms narrative arc for Warhammer Age of Sigmar kicking off this month, November’s models are Witch Aelves! Morathi would be proud.
Once you have collected six of the collectible coins, you will be eligible to get a coin booklet to display your growing collection!
All The Games Workshop Warhammer Collectible Coins Checklist
GW does about one of these monthly, as their Warhammer promotional coins are based around a new faction getting a release next. Also, if you collect at least six of the coins, you can score a nice little binder to hold your coins.

Daughters of Khaine Coin
The first coin of the promotion was to herald in the Morathi book. It got people pretty excited to get some collectibles and a free mini with each month of promotions.

Death Guard Coin
This was the Death Guard coin, which was shown back in November but wasn’t released until December. As we said before, you must spend over $100 to add any of the coins to your collection. That kind of sucked for DG players because you couldn’t spend any of that hundred on new minis since they weren’t out yet!

Hedonites of Slaanesh Coin
January took a little break from the promotion, and we didn’t see a coin until February. The February coin coincided with the big release of all the Hedonites stuff and a free Daemonette.

Lumineth Realm-Lords Coin
March saw the release of the Lumineth coin, but again, there was no new stuff to buy when it was available. So hopefully you needed some other reinforcements for your army!

Be’lakor Coin
The Be’lakor coin looks pretty sweet! If you’ve grabbed all of the coins up to this one, you’d only be one-off from being eligible for the coin holder, as you need 6 to qualify.

Ventris Coin
GW snuck in a new coin when they announced the re-opening of their UK stores.
For starters, you’ll find three collectible coins to pick up – one each for the Ultramarines, Be’lakor, and Lumineth Realm-lords – so if there’s been a conspicuous hole in your coin collection until now, you’ll be able to get all three once your store opens up. Talk to your store manager for more information on how you can get them!
You’ll also be able to choose your Miniature of the Month from all the months you’ve missed, so make sure to ask your store manager which ones are available.

Sisters of Battle Coin
The Sisters also picked one up with their latest release, which is pretty cool! Check eBay for the Sisters of Battle Coin here.
Stormcast Coin
This coin focused on AoS as Dominion hit shelves. With this coin, you could finally grab the holder. Check eBay for the Stormcast Coin here.
Grey Knights Coin
This is pretty cool if you play the Grey boys, but the coin itself isn’t as exciting as the rest. Check eBay for the Grey Knights Coin here.
Orks Coin
We saw this one for months and months, so it was nice actually to be able to grab it! Well, you could have bought one on eBay a while ago. If you just bought the codex, you only needed to spend another $50 to grab the coin. Check eBay for the Orks Coin here.
Black Templars Coin
October’s coin was for the Black Templars and yet another one for the Space Marines. What should we expect though, lol. Check eBay for Black Templars Coin here.
Red Gobbo Coin
While this coin isn’t really for any which faction, it was a nice addition to your growing collection in celebration of the holiday season. Check eBay for the Red Gobbo Coin here.
Imperial Aquila Coin

These coins are available on a strictly first-come, first-served basis, so get down to your local Warhammer store from Saturday the 4th of December and ask your store manager how you can get the coin and miniature.
The latest coin we’ve seen comes with a GSC mini which is a little strange because it’s an Imperial coin. Either way, it’s pretty cool!
Tau Coin Promotion (January 2022)

With the new Codex: T’au Empire on the way, the fleets of the Fifth Sphere Expansion are preparing to set out once again and claim more territory in the name of the Greater Good. Although they’re quite happy to talk you into it, they also carry rather fearsome guns, so it might be best to show them you’re already onside with this month’s commemorative coin.
This is one of the smoothest-looking coins yet, so if you play Tau, it will be hard to pass up. Obviously, Tau was probably supposed to be the new January 2022 release, but all release schedules at GW seem to be a bit off due to COVID-related issues.
Orruks Warclans Coin: (February 2022)
Speaking of miniatures, did you see this year’s Store Anniversary miniatures when we revealed them last month? You’ll be able to get an amazing Ordo Malleus Inquisitor and Kruleboy Gutrippa Boss at your local store anniversary this year, and – in honour of Haggok himself – this month’s coin features an Orruk Warclans icon.
The coin is for AoS Orruks, which is pretty cool, but we really were hoping for an Eldar coin to go along with the mini. But if you play the faction, then this is for you!

Necromunda Ash Wastes Coin: (March 2022)
We now travel from the depths of the sea to the depths of the underhive for this month’s collectable coin, which has a Necromunda theme.
The Ash Wastes will be the focus for the next Necromunda box set, so while you won’t be able to spend money on that, it’s cool to see the Boxed Games grab a coin.

Tyranids 40k Coin Promo (April 2022)
There is also a matching coin this month to pay tribute to the Hive Mind, complete with tasteful Tyranid iconography.
Honestly, this is a really cool coin and uses some of the most iconic art for the Nids!

May 2022: Chaos 40k Coin Promo

June 2022: Citadel Colour Coin
While you’re in store, you can also pick up July’s commemorative coin! Ask staff how you can get your hands on yours.
The coin this month is a little plain, honestly. Still, if you love Citadel paint, might as well grab the coin if you have the cash to spend on minis.

August 2022: Honorifica Imperialis Coin
While you’re in store, you can also pick up August’s commemorative coin, which is available from Saturday the 6th of August. Ask staff how you can get your hands on yours.
This is a much cooler coin than last month, so if you like the Imperium, then this might be worth picking up as you got to grab your free Warcry miniature!

September 2022: Leagues of Votann Games Workshop Collectible Coin Promotion
While you’re in a store, you’ll also be able to acquire September’s coin of the month while stocks last, which is also Leagues of Votann-themed and will be available from the 3rd of September.
The coin is pretty cool and considering there seems to be a lot of hype around the new Leagues of Votann minis, it should be easy to hit that $100 requirement for the promo!

October 2022: Cursed City Collectible Coin
You can also pick up October’s collectible coin of the month, which is also Cursed City-themed. Sadly, you won’t be able to use it to buy your freedom if you’re captured by Gorslav the Gravekeeper. It’s available from the 1st of October. Ask the store staff how you can claim this month’s coin.
The coin is pretty cool, and if you’re planning on spending $100 in October might as well grab this when you go!

November 2022 High Lords of Terrain Coin
This month’s collectable coin is themed after another group of holier-than-thou individuals who are themselves no strangers to ridiculous headwear. The High Lords of Terra coin will be available to collect in store from the 5th of November, while stocks last. Ask local store staff how you can get yours.

December 2022: Two Collectible Coins Arrive!
There are actually two collectible coins available this month – you can show your love of Warcry, or throw the horns with the Goff Rocker Coin.
Both look pretty sweet, but we assume you must spend $200 to get both. Still, it’s nice to have something for both AoS and 40k to choose from for hobbyists!

January 2023: Cadian Stands Collectible Coin
Keep in mind this is available at a different time than the miniature, so if you want it, maybe go in early, or you might be able to wait until the new Imperial Guard stuff hits. You will have to spend $100 to get this, and they are limited, so don’t wait too long if you want them.

February 2023: Adeptus Arbites
This time the coin and mini are not synced up, so if you want the coin, go grab yours in early February. This is pretty cool, and with the new Arbites models revealed, it will be fun to have the coin.

March 2023: World Eaters / Slaves to Darkness
This month you can pick up two separate collectable coins – one themed after the Slaves to Darkness and the other the World Eaters. Both coins will be available in-store from the 4th of March – just ask local store staff how you can get yours (while stocks last).\
This time around, you can actually score two coins, but we assume you would have to spend $200 to get both coins, but they don’t exactly say. That being said, if you want either of the coins, you’ll have to spend at least $100 to get it, but both are pretty cool.

April 2023: Seraphon Coin
This month’s shiny collectable coin is rumoured to have been crafted thousands of years in the past by the Old Ones themselves. It is etched with the sacred visage of a Slann Starmaster, and will be available from the 1st of April – just ask local store staff how you can get yours (while stocks last).

May 2023: Kill Team Gallowfall Coin
This month’s collectable coin has been made to commemorate the destruction of the Gallowdark in the final Kill Team expansion, Gallowfall – which goes on pre-order this week. The space hulk itself was a horrible amalgamation of twisted ships, but it gave us some awesome great games of Kill Team. The coin will be available from the 6th of May – just ask your local store staff how you can get one (while stocks last).

June 2023: Tyranids Coin
This month’s collectable coin is also Tyranid-themed in advance of Warhammer 40,000: Leviathan, which arrives soon. Who could resist the grin of this creepy little critter? The coin will be available from the 3rd of June and will be available while stocks last. Just ask your store staff how you can get yours.

July 2023: Terminators Coin
This month’s collectable coin is themed around the most iconic of all the factions in Warhammer 40,000 – the Angels of Death, the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines. The coin will be available from the 1st of July and will be available while stocks last. Just ask your store staff how you can get yours.

August 2023: Realm Ghur Coin
This month’s collectable coin is also suffused with primal savagery. The coin will be available from the 19th of August, while stocks last. Just ask your store staff how you can get yours.

September 2023: Cities of Sigmar Coin
This month’s collectable coin celebrates the launch of the Cities of Sigmar, whose Army Set has just hit stores. The coin will be available from the 2nd of September, while stocks last. Just ask your store staff how you can get yours.

October 2023 Crux Terminatus Space Marines Coin
This month’s collectable coin bears the Crux Terminatus, the emblem worn by every Space Marine Terminator, and said to contain a fragment of the Emperor’s armour. The coin will be available from the 7th of October, while stocks last. Just ask your store staff how you can get yours.

November 2023: Da Red Gobbo Coin
This month’s collectable coin features the visage of everyone’s favourite festive scarlet scamp, Da Red Gobbo. The coin will be available from the 4th of November (while stocks last). Ask your local store staff how you can get yours.
It looks like you’ll have to go the week before the Cities of Sigmar stuff drops to grab this coin, but Da Red Gobbo is just awesome! So we expect these to go quickly this time around.
December 2023 Legions Imperialis Coin
This month’s collectable coin is also themed after Legions Imperialis, and will be available from the 2nd of December (while stocks last). You just need to ask your local store staff how you can get yours.
Luckily this time around, the coin and free mini will be lined up, meaning you can go buy new LI stuff, get a coin, and a free Rhino!
January 2024 Two Citadel Collectible Coins
This month, you’ll have not one but two collectable coins to choose from, while stocks last. One celebrates the impending release of Warhammer: The Old World, and the other pays homage to Ushoran and his Flesh-eater Courts. Ask your store staff how you can get your choice of these two coins.
If you’re picking up an Old World launch box, you can also get a coin to go with it! However, if you’re more interested in Age of Sigmar, you can grab a coin for the Flesh-Eater Courts.
February 2024 Black Library Coin
This month’s collectable coin is themed after the logo of Black Library, whose shelves are stuffed with fantastic Warhammer fiction. Ask your store staff how you can get your very own Black Library coin from the 3rd of February – just in time for this year’s Black Library Celebration.
This is a coin a lot of people could want, as who doesn’t love reading about Warhammer? Just remember, you will have to spend $100 on this, but it drops the same day as the free mini this time, so you could go spend the $100, get the coin, and grab a free mini in one trip.
March 2024: Dark Angels
This collectible coin features the Dark Angels insignia and will be available in stores starting on March 2nd, 2024.
This month’s collectable coin comes straight from the most heavily guarded vaults on the Rock, emblazoned as it is with the insignia of the Dark Angels
The good news is that the coin drops the same day as the free mini this time, so you can spend $100, get the coin, and grab a free mini in just one trip!
April 2024: Dark Angels
For April, a collectible coin featuring the Kroot auxiliaries will be available. You can acquire your own Kroot coin from Warhammer stores beginning April 6th. However, they don’t mention the details behind this promotion. Previously, you could score the Citadel coin of the month for spending over $100, but this month, all they say is to ask the staff how to score yours.
Warhammer 40k Aeldari Coin Spotted for Sale on eBay
While there’s not much context for this one, it’s pretty simple… It’s up on eBay!
A so far yet unreleased Aeldari 40k coin is up for grabs on eBay for carrying prices. We also saw something similar happen for the Orks collectible coin, which eventually got released…
In short, this could be coming up any month now, but there’s no telling when we may even see it at this point.
Coin Holder
If you’ve collected at least six of the monthly coins, show them to the manager and you can present them in a handsome coin album while stocks last.
Once you have collected six of the collectible coins, you will be eligible to get a perfect coin booklet to display your growing collection! If you’ve grabbed most of the coins, at this point, you should be able to get at least one by now!
