Originally there were two ways to fund the project. going for the Heroic or Mythic tier release…

heroquest new 9The Heroic Tier was the most “basic” package you can get. Although there’s nothing basic about it. The Mythic Tier gave you everything from the Heroic Tier but also unlocks two other expansions. These were originally priced at $99.99 and $149.99 respectively.

HeroQuest Board Game Original Reveal:

While the new box set looked great, the problem with all of this was that we really didn’t know what the game components aka the miniatures were going to look like. These were all the images we had at the time from the Hasbro video.

The team took the big announcement to YouTube and you can watch all of the details that were covered first-hand in case you missed it back in 2020.

heroquest new 1HeroQuest is going to have four models/classes to choose from. The Barbarian, the Wizard, the Dwarf, and the Elf. However, unlike the first time this game was released, it looks like Games Workshop isn’t behind these minis.

HeroQuest Mythic Tier Finished Product & Unboxing

Our friend and author Mike Haspil posted up some great finished product shots of his HeroQuest Board game (Mythic Tier) that just arrived.

HeroQuest in the wild

Can you smell it? I love the smell of cardboard and plastic first thing in the morning!

Show me the HeroQuest Board Game Miniatures!

From the looks of it, nothing has changed from the HasLab crowdfunding project on the outside.

Haspil gave us a sneak peak at his recently received HeroQuestFirst up, a mini, it’s a bit out of focus for all you camera nerds. It’s good to know Haspil and his fingers are still hobbying… but loads more photos and they get better!!

Haspil gave us a sneak peak at his recently received HeroQuestLook at all the amazing detail! These HeroQuest Board Game miniatures definitely look worth it so far!

Haspil gave us a sneak peak at his recently received HeroQuestThe game aides and the terrain look fan-diddly-astic as well.

Look the nostalgia is burning my eyes. Maybe those are just tears…

Haspil gave us a sneak peak at his recently received HeroQuestThe Art is great and I personally love it when the mini’s pose matches the artwork, really helps with the submersion.

So, now you may be asking yourself what if you missed out on the Kickstarter? How do you get yours?

eBay has the Mytic Tier HeroQuest Board Game

Well, don’t worry because eBay is here to save the day! Maybe not for the best of prices right now, but Hasbro also just put the base game our for sale seperately for a price that is nice.

Currently, a copy of the new game with all expansions is going for around the $500 mark on the secondary market, down from $700 when they first started delivering.

Chances are these prices will level off as supply hits saturation point. Now if you don’t want to wait for prices to drop you’re in luck!

The HeroQuest board game is now available for purchase even if you missed the campaign directly from Entertainment Earth and Amazon!

Avalon Hill HeroQuest Game System

Available from Amazon, or Entertainment Earth (For delivery in December 2021)

HeroQuestThe game itself is just so nostalgic and awesome! For the price you get a ton of stuff, it just looks like the only things you can’t get that were in the project are the extra missions. Still, if you missed out on the initial project, this is just a really cool offering from Hasbro.

HeroQuest 2Here’s everything you get with the box:

Includes gameboard, 31 monster miniatures, 4 hero miniatures, 15 furniture pieces, 10 skull pieces, 4 plastic rat pieces, 21 dungeon doors, 93 game cards, 4 turn-order cards, cardboard tiles, Quest Book, 4 character cards, Game Master’s screen, pad of character sheets, 6 white combat dice, 2 red dice, and rulebook.
