The Gobbo 40K Navideño happened over the weekend with some pretty sweet 40k army lists taking the top spots!
The tournament is over and now we’re able to look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought in their armies.
Top Warhammer 40k Army Lists: Gobbo 40K Navideño
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings we are able to look back at the event as if we were there ourselves.
If you wanted to see the names and factions of the overall winners, we’ve included that below.
Also if you happened to miss it, the meta will be changing in some manner due to the new Balance Update for 40k that Games Workshop, as well as the new Seasons of Warhammer 40k.
3rd Place: Isidro Blanco – Blood Angels
2nd Place: Jorge Garcia Lorenzo – Chaos Daemons
1st Place: Toño Prieto – Harelquins
Toño’s Harlequins list features the best of two Eldar factions, starting off with a Craftworlds Spearhead. It is led by Warlock and a Farseer, both on Skyrunners, and both are included to provide some great psychic support while having tons of extra mobility thanks to their Jetbikes.
Troops are just a base squad of Dire Avengers, as they are decent and pretty cheap, making for good options to grab objectives.
Fast Attacks includes one Hornet and a unit of 5 Warp Spiders. The Hornet is a cheap tank with a pretty decent weapon and great durability, making it relatively point efficient. The Warp Spiders on the other hand are great because they can deep strike in and cause a little bit of havoc thanks to their great mobility and their optional -1 to hit from shooting rule.
Closing out the Craftworlds are a total of 9 Dark Reapers, which are fantastic ranged threats that can also target enemy vehicles and take them out.
The second half of the list is Harlequins in a Battalion led by a Shadowseer and a Troupe Master. The seer once again provides extra psychic support, while the Troupe Master helps to buff the lists Troupes around him.
Speaking of which…
There are a total of 20 Troupes in the list, all of which are meant to hunker down in a Starweaver to sport that extra mobility and durability, while also being able to shoot out!
Fast Attacks bring in 5 Skyweavers, which are great Jetbikes that have pretty good ranged weapons and sport, of course, great mobility to take advantage of.
Lastly, there are Starweavers to potentially carry the 20 Troupes as mentioned before!
