New 40k Chaos Space Marines rules have been spotted, this time for the bikers, but it might mean no new minis…
We know that Chaos is finally getting their time in the sun soon and with even more of the datasheets being spotted on Reddit, it’s coming up fast! Let’s start with some of the overall rumors we’ve seen, then check out the new datasheets!

RUMORS: New Codex Chaos Space Marines Rules
Let’s check start with the Overall Chaos Space Marines and Legion rules Codex rumors we have already seen, and check out the datasheet that was spotted!

Some of those are super spicy for sure, and some are not. Either way, we know new Chaos Space Marines are on the way. Check out all the pages of the new Chaos Space Marine Codex rumors above!
- CSM doctrine:
- Exact same thing as SM, except replace +1AP with exploding 6s (unmodified hits)
- Icons:
vengeance +1 CA
wrath +1ap melee
flame +1ap shooting
excess +1 to hit melee
despair 6s to hit = autowound - All legions are getting 6 WT, 8 relics & 8 stratagems
- What else is in the book They have a way of consistently hitting on 2s (even with thunder hammers)

New Bonuses:
- +1 to Wounds (was 2 now 3)
- +2 to Attacks (was 1 now 3)
- +1 to Leadership (was 7 now 8)
What we don’t know:
- Unique abilities?
- Faction-wide rules and impact on the unit?
- Synergy with other CSM?
- Wargear options
- Points
So, this is good up front as they are getting way tougher moving to 3 wounds, hitting way harder with 2 more attacks, and better LD. The only sad thing about this could be the fact we’re probably not getting new models for them.
Still, the models aren’t terrible and with some serious increases to their statline, we’re sure to see more of them! Especially with the increased attacks. However, there’s a chance when WE or EC eventually come out that more of the generic old models grab an update as well.
