Michael Walsh 1

Michael’s winning Sisters of Battle was a single Battalion led by Morvenn Vahl and a Canoness. Morvenn is a fantastic character with a great stat line and weapons that make her deadly and durable, but she also has supportive abilities like a hit and wound re-roll aura. The Canoness is a little less exciting but still has a hit re-roll aura to help out some other bodies be a little more effective.

Troops bring in a total of 10 Battle Sisters and 10 Sister Novitiates. The Battle Sisters are standard bodies with some normal shots to sit on objectives and deal a little bit of damage. The Novitiates are similar but much more melee-focused and are a little cheaper per body.

Michael Walsh 2

Elites bring in 2 Crusaders, a Dogmata, a Hospitaller, and 20 Repentia. The Crusaders are simple cheap power sword bodies. The Dogmata is a support piece that grants access to Hymns of Battle and allows nearby models to shoot while performing actions. The Hospitaller can heal a unit every turn and gives nearby models a 6+ FNP and the 20 Repentia are dedicated melee units that can tear up anything they come in contact with if they aren’t focussed by ranged fire.

Fast Attacks bring in 6 Seraphim and 10 Zephyrim. The Seraphim are slightly more ranged-oriented and come with flamers which are perfect for attacking chaff. The Zephyrim is more melee-centric and has a charge re-roll for making crucial charges. Both units have great mobility and serve as units that can finish off weakened targets or grab lone objectives.

Michael Walsh 3

Heavy Support brings in a Castigator and 20 Retributors. The Castigator is a durable single model threat with decent shooting, while the Retributors are a heavy-hitting ranged squad with a total of 8 Multi-meltas to help focus down enemy armored threats.

Lastly closing out the list is a single Rhino to help transport an important unit to the front lines.
