With Legions Imperialis on the way, tons of Adeptus Titanicus models are mostly sold out on the GW site as they get reworked.
It looks like GW wants Legions Imperialis to be the main driving force for both Adeptus Titanicus and Aeronautica Imperialis, and this is quite obvious when you look at the GW site. Things seem to be better for AT, as tons and tons of AI models are already on the last chance-to-buy list, and the AT models are just currently out of stock.
Either way, there have been some serious stock issues with the game for a long time now, and we don’t expect them to get better until LI drops in full.
Adeptus Titanicus Models Mostly Sold Out on the GW Site
Spotted on the GW site.
Besides the digital rules, almost everything on the site is sold out right now. However, we assume this isn’t just a stock issue. It seems more likely they are all getting rebased for LI, and maybe new rules as well.
It seems GW is more focused on them being part of that game, but this is probably good news in the long run, as it means the game should receive more support than it has been.
If you look at the bases, they have to be slimmer for LI, and GW is probably changing all the bases to be this size in the kits. However, GW did say you could use the old bases for LI if you already have the models but recommend rebasing for games like Aeronautical Imperialis.
The big Titans are also out of stock right now, and you can see the bases are still the old style.
They also talked about getting new rules out for the models, which is good because it means more game support. But if you want to buy models right now, you really can’t unless you go to the secondary market.
