new-space-Marines-sprues-bits-sternguard-termunatorsThese sprues are stacked with tons of new bits; dont miss the new multi-part Terminators and Sternguard kits that can make dope conversions.

While we saw the complete kits revealed, but it’s always better to know what the sprues will actually contain. That way, you can start thinking about how to build your models and maybe convert them! From the looks of it, there will be plenty of ways to build them up, and they should have some decent options too!

If you bought Leviathan, these could still be a fun pick-up to grab more weapon options to really make them your own.

GW Reveals 40k Terminators & Sternguard Sprues & Bits

Here’s the latest on all the new bits for Terminators and Sternguard from their sprues via Warhammer Community.

40k Terminators sprues

One of the most striking elements of the new Sternguard Veterans is the triumphant return of the back banner – a stylistic throwback to the days of MKVII armour and Godwyn-pattern boltguns. This mesh of old styles and new looks reverberates throughout the Sternguard, a veteran corps whose gear blurs the line between classic and Primaris Space Marines.

Who doesn’t love a good back banner? On top of that, there look to be a ton of weapon options and extra bits.

MKVI and MKVII helmets are both included among 15 head options – that’s three per model – along with plenty of extra pouches, charms, and trinkets.

Although all combi-weapons use the same weapon profile in-game, you still get two combi-flamers, combi-plasmas, and combi-meltas each – plus the full selection of bolt rifle sights and magazines – so pick whichever wargear suits the vibe of your Chapter best.

It’s good to have extra heads for the kit but also to convert other models with! While they still give all the combi-weapon bits, you can now use whatever ones you think are the coolest.

The new pyrecannon is the star of the gun show – joining the heavy bolter which returns from Leviathan – but you also have the option to equip all of your Veterans with a choice of tricked-out boltguns or hybridised combi-weapons.

All of the sternguard bits look good, overall this should be a fun kit to build out.

The new multi-option Terminators carry the same weight and gravitas as their sturdy, up-sized brothers from the Leviathan boxed set, all in a much more flexible package.

As we said, these are the same thing as Leviathan, but now with more bits and options! While those ones in the 40k Starter were Easy to build push fit, these appear to be Easier to Build but not quite the beginner-level push fit we saw over the summer…

40k Terminators sprues 7

For the first time, you can equip all of your Terminators with chainfists right out of the box – just in time to show those shiny new Imperial Knights who’s boss. The weapon options don’t end there, as the trusty assault cannon is joined by two old friends – the cyclone missile launcher and heavy flamer.

It’s nice to finally get enough chainfists for your entire squad! You also get more options for ranged weapons because who wants Terminators without missile launchers?

40k Terminators sprues 8Overall, they look great, and there should be plenty of options to build. Maybe you can use some of the extra bits (like chainfists) from this to convert your Leviathan Terminators (if you haven’t painted them yet, maybe.)

40k Terminators sprues 10Judging by the pics, these models are more poseable than the Leviathan ones, but at $65 a squad they may be a little harder on the wallet.
