GW Announces New Preview Coming Next Week!

gw-previews-new-warhammerGames Workshop has officially confirmed a new Black Library Celebration preview is coming soon- check it out!

If you’ve been waiting for new books to read and catch up on all your Warhammer lore, you’re in luck!

While these previews generally don’t have a ton of minis, they will often reveal a character from the books and give them an exclusive miniature or something, even if you don’t want to read the books.

There will also be two classic books the community voted on, available for order during the week of the celebration in a limited paperback run.

GW Announces New Black Library Celebration Preview

The latest on the new preview comes from Warhammer Community.

Black Library Celebration PreviewThis is an annual preview, where they generally tease a ton of books, and this time, you can order some old books to read! They haven’t given the exact time of the preview quite yet, but we have a date!

Black Library Celebration Preview 2

Both books will be available to order as part of a limited paperback run earlier next year, as part of the Black Library Celebration Black Library Preview 2023. This annual preview of Warhammer fiction will return on Saturday the 9th of December, with a live show full of announcements and interviews.

Last year, they came out with dozens of books and a bunch of limited-edition stuff as well! So, be ready on the 9th to check out all the new stuff!

Last Year’s Reveals

Eisenhorn Xenos Limited Edition

If you enjoy reading about the gritty underbelly of the Imperium, and how forces within and without seek to manipulate things to their will behind the scenes, you’ll love this book, which kicks off the story of Inquisitor Eisenhorn. Does he bend the rules to do what’s ultimately right, or is he little more than a dangerous radical? You decide.

Eisenhorn is a fan favorite, so it was cool to see a limited edition version.

The Successors

The Successors

From storied successors including the Crimson Fists and Flesh Tearers to lesser-known Chapters like the Emperor’s Spears and Consecrators, you’ll be spoilt for no-holds-barred Adeptus Astartes action.

The nature of Successor chapters and their unique attributes help make 40k one of the most interesting sci-fi settings, so this book is sure to be great on that basis alone.

Saturnine (PB)

Saturnine

The fourth instalment of the Siege of Terra series, Saturnine, is coming soon in paperback, and it sees the fighting escalate to new heights across the perimeter of the Emperor’s Palace.

If you were unable to get it before, rejoice as the new Paperback has been easier to get a hold of (and cheaper!).

Battle of Lion’s Gate Space Port Map

Battle of Lion’s Gate space port

What’s more, you can keep track of where all the action takes place with a map focusing on the Battle of Lion’s Gate space port, wrapped in vinyl for an opulent feel and stunning presentation.

Witch Hunter, Cadian Blood, and Astorath: Angel of Mercy

Witch Hunter, Cadian Blood, and Astorath Angel of Mercy

We’ve also got two Reader’s Choice books up for reprint, Witch Hunter and Cadian Blood, as well as the hardback of Astorath: Angel of Mercy – available for the first time since its release as a super-special edition last Christmas.
