According to the latest rumors, tons of new Chaos Space Marines releases are on the way for 10th Edition!
While these are rumors, one of these might answer the prayers of Chaos Space Marine players. Plus, when their codex drops, GW could focus on more Terminator models for a new bundle box set (but the models might not be what you’re hoping for.)
RUMORS: New Chaos Space Marine Lords & Boxsets on the Way
Before we head into the new rumors, let’s first take a look at the roadmap. We’ve seen Orks, Custodes, and Tau already (well, Tau is dropping very soon), so look at which faction leaves next: Chaos Space Marines!
So, while these are rumors of what to expect, we know they are next on the docket, so let’s get speculating! Remember, though, these are just rumors, so take them with as much salt as you need! Don’t get too excited or bummed, as nothing is confirmed until Games Workshop says it is. Who knows, maybe we will even see some reveals at AdeptiCon!

Haarken is currently the only jump-pack character.
Let’s go to the rumors about new Chaos Lord models. First, Chaos Space Marines might finally get a generic Lord with a jump pack! It’s been something CSM hobbyists have wanted for a long time. It would also mean you don’t have to run a special character to buff up your Raptors. That could make sense, considering Space Marines just got a generic jump-pack character. Plus, as we said, this is something that most Chaos players have wanted to see for a long time. So let’s hope it’s true.
Next up, the rumors point to a new Lord similar to the one from Blackstone Fortress. However, the rumors say it may be a new Terminator Lord. Taken out of context, it could just be wishlisting.
However, the art from the Deathwing Assault Box may help support that theory, especially since GW doesn’t put out artwork for miniatures that don’t exist.
The Terminator character in the art on the left looks pretty close to the Chaos lord miniature above, just in Terminator form! This is still speculation, but since Games Workshop never likes to put out art without a model release ready, this wouldn’t be surprising.
New Chaos Box Set & Terminators Rumors
A new bundle box set is also rumored to have this new Terminator Lord in it, but unfortunately, Valrak didn’t hear anything about a new Terminator Squad. He thinks it’s more likely to have just the new Terminator Lord and the current squad in the box (maybe an upgrade sprue?). However, these are rumors, so there is a chance we could see new terminators. But at this point, it doesn’t look great.
Lastly, the outlook for new bikes also doesn’t look too great, but there may be a re-release of the previous Chaos Bikes box when the codex drops. However, even more recently, we haven’t heard more about them, so don’t get your hopes too high.
While these are rumors, things are looking good for Chaos to get at least more than a single model, like a lot of the most recent releases.
