Chaos-rumors-title-hor-wal-1280-site-warhammer-40k-games-workshop1Huge rumors for Blood Angels, Death Korps of Krieg, GSC, and Sisters of Battle point to new miniatures coming soon to Warhammer 40k!

This summer may be jam-packed with new Warhammer 40k miniatures, Battleforces, and Combat Patrols! In addition to these Chaos ones, there are rumors of new releases for Blood Angels, Death Korps of Krieg, Genestealer Cults, and Sisters of Battle. So, let’s take a closer look at these rumors and see what we could expect from our favorite factions in Warhammer 40k.

RUMORS: New 40k Blood Angels, Death Korps, & More Miniatures Dropping in Summer!

Here is the latest on the new 40k Blood Angels, Death Korps of Krieg, GSC, and Sisters of Battle rumors, according to Valrak, which align with the Codex roadmap.

Codex Release Map games workshop new releases warhammer roadmapFirstly, supposedly there will be new Custodes, Orks, and Tau Combat Patrols. That would be great as the most recent ones, could definitely see some improvement.

Luckily, there are some specific details on the Tau box contents. The rumors say there will be a Commander Suit, a unit of Pathfinders (with the upgrades), a Devilfish, and a unit of Warriors. Looking at the roadmap, it only makes sense for Tau to release soon with a giant confirmed rework of Kroot, however a Combat patrol may be part of a wave two release after the new Army Box.

For Orks, supposedly, their new Combat Patrol box will focus exclusively on Beast Snaggas.

Sisters of Battle & Genestealer Cults New Release Rumors

sisters of battle seraphimThe Sisters’ release is said to be very similar to the Custodes and Orks, with one new character for the army and a big box set. However, the rumored model for Sisters, is a jump-pack Canoness! The box itself will feature around that, so it may contain a lot of Seraphim and Zephyrim. Considering they got a big rework, just last edition, it’s not too surprising they won’t have a ton of new miniatures this soon in their lifespan.

The rumor is that the Genestealer Cults will get a new kind of Psyker with a giant mutated head. So, supposedly another typical 10th Edition single miniature and bundle box release for the GSC.

New Blood Angels & Death Korps of Krieg Miniatures

Update: some of these Death Korps Rumors are said to have been pushed back to 2025. You can read more about it here.

Death Korps of Krieg Range Refresh 3The big rumor is that this summer will see a giant Blood Angels rework! The rumors point to this being a release just as big as the Dark Angels, if not bigger! There are rumors of a new Sanguinary Guard, tons of characters, and, of course, a big box release!

Perhaps even more exciting is that after the Blood Angels, we’ll see new DKoK! It has been a long time since GW released the Kill Team unit and got rid of most of the resin kits on their webstore. This, however, is going to be all-new plastic kits, and there are rumors that all the new models will be in a big box set like the Kroot is getting.

Krieg has so many amazing units, like Engineers and Death Riders; this would just be amazing to see! If you think about it, we actually saw a couple of Advent Engines that look awfully Kriegy as well, so perhaps there is something to these rumors!

Death Korps of Krieg Get a New Banner: GW Advent Engine

Advent Engine Imperial Guard 3

Well, we’re going to say this looks like a banner to us one way or the other, as these symbols look very Imperial! We’ve seen plenty of Death Korps of Krieg rumors and hints in the Advent Engine, so let’s start with the possibility of a banner for them.

Advent Engine Imperial Guard 2While the current banner doesn’t have the little skull in the bottom left, the skull in the shield looks extremely similar. Plus, how would a new Krieg banner not have a little battle damage on it? This model above is still in resin, and we’ve said if they are redoing Krieg, they would have to redo the Command HQ Squad, and it would need a new banner bearer.

Krieg Making a Mine Field?

Advent Engine Death Korps of Krieg 2Well, the minefield part is pretty obvious, as the sign just straight-up says it! However, who would use it? Who are masters of trench warfare in 40k? It all points to Krieg!

On the official Facebook page, someone even said Sappers for Krieg, and GW answered, we like your style. This one seems more obvious than some previous rumors if you ask us.

We’ve heard rumors for a really long time for DKoK, and after their Kill Team came out, the rumors only intensified.

Advent Engine Death Korps of Krieg 3

They currently have the Engineers but in resin. So, we could easily see them rework this kit into less of a mining group and more of actual sappers who put down minefields on the battlefield to protect your units of guard from advancing enemies!

This summer could be filled with huge releases for all kinds of great factions in Warhammer 40k!
