Our full Unboxing and Review video is linked below and we encourage you to check it out for the overall scoop on the new stuffs.
8th Edition is here, and it is all about the accessories! This weekend we have: a Combat Gauge, Death Guard Green base coat, Command Dice, Wound Counters (not pictured) and Tactical Objectives. Now, the Battle Primer that you see in the background is a special item that can be found at your local game store during the Launch Day celebration event.
The Death Guard Green Base paint also comes in a spray can for $19.50 (not pictured).Command Dice are once again that quality die that seem to roll well with no wobbles, and can be used to mark wounds and 6 to make what actions units are taking. They can also be used to mark which units have been activated. The dice however do have a guide as to what the 6 command dice symbolize. A few of them use the old styling for the symbols that reminds us of 5th Edition.
- 1: A One-Shot Weapon
- 2: Reinforcement
- 3: Falling Back
- 4: Advancing

Warhammer 40,000 Combat Gauge: $10
The perfect tool for quickly and easily measuring the space between models locked in bitter combat, the Combat Gauge has been designed for all those who love to play their games with as little fuss and clutter as possible.
Made from strong yet pliable rubber, with a pristine Imperial eagle design featured on one side, and a more decayed, Chaos-addled design on the other, the Combat Gauge’s four edges measure half an inch, one inch, two inches and three inches incrementally – so should you need to ascertain whether two models are within range for your combat choices, just use the appropriate edge to find out instantly.
Citadel Base: Death Guard Green: $4.25 (Spray $19.50)
Citadel Base paints are high quality acrylic paints specially formulated for basecoating your Citadel miniatures quickly and easily. They are designed to give a smooth matte finish over black or white undercoats with a single layer.
All of our paints are non-toxic, water-based acrylic that are designed for use on plastic, metal, and resin Citadel miniatures. One pot contains 12ml of base paint.
Warhammer 40,000 Command Dice: $20
Keep track of your Command Points and squad status in games of Warhammer 40,000 with this set of 20 6-sided dice. One advantage of fielding a Battle-forged army is the Command Points your selection of Detachments confer – these points can be spent on Stratagems, which confer strategic and tactical advantage.
14 of the dice in this set feature numbers which allow you to keep track of the points you’ve spent – enough to keep a fairly large game under control. 6 of the dice are used to show a variety of combat statuses as outlined in the Warhammer 40,000 rules, making it easy to keep track of where in the phases of the game you are.
Warhammer 40,000 Tactical Objective Cards: $12.50
War is unpredictable and fluid. Strategic objectives and tactical priorities can change at a moment’s notice. Tactical objectives are most commonly used in Maelstrom of War missions where the objectives constantly shift and change as the game progresses.
These cards hold the 36 Tactical Objectives from the Warhammer 40,000 book. This pack makes it easy to randomly generate objectives and keep track of those already secured in games of Warhammer 40,000.
You will need a copy of Warhammer 40,000 to use these cards
