Forge World is blowing the dust off an old unit from way back in the day. Take a look at a new take on the classic Rogue Trader Marine Land Speeder.

Forge World just announced they are is bringing back an old unit with heavy influences of the Land Speeder model from way back in the day. Hopefully for general release soon.

We heard that the Forge World team would be bringing back an old unit in a new way but we didn’t know exactly when. We finally got word today that it’s the Land Speeder Proteus.

New & Improved

The Land Speeder Proteus is going to have the similar design to the one back in the day. Best of all,  it looks like it comes available for all different weapon options.

The Land Speeder is exciting news but let’s look a bit deeper. Notice the paint scheme of things? Notice the teardrop and the Legion number on the back of the vehicle? It’s 100% Blood Angels. If you didn’t know it, the Land Speeder is perfectly viable in Horus Heresy and here lately, Blood Angels have been getting the spotlight in the 30k scene.

The Land Speeder painted in Blood Angels colors is no coincidence. Something big is on the way for Blood Angels.

As of right now, this is only a preview of what’s to come. There’s no official date yet on when these will hit the market. Stay tuned and keep an eye out for Forge World to drop these guys!

Are you excited for this old model’s reboot? What do you think of Blood Angels in Horus Heresy?
