All That Glitters Isn’t Gold: GW Rumor Engine

Now that the Warhammer Community’s rumor Daemon Engines are over, we can return to regularly-scheduled previews on what’s coming next from GW.

Warhammer Community posted something that we can only guess is part of a scenic base!

Has GW got all of the rumor Daemon engines out of their system?  Perhaps now we can finally get back to checking out other bits for AoS and 40k.

All That Glitters Isn’t Gold: GW Rumor Engine

Warhammer Community is a bit random in what they show us. Sometimes we have no clue what we’re looking at. And other times, we know exactly what we’re looking at but we don’t know who/what it belongs to. Taking a quick glance at this rumor engine, we can tell right off the bat that we’re looking at some kind of treasure.

There’s a pot that’s been tipped over spilling out a bunch of coins along with a massive medallion or shield lying around. Overall, the sculpt looks to be very flat. What does that mean? Well, it could be a scenic base for someone who loves luxury! We tend to lean more towards this bit going to the AoS universe just because of the lavish riches on the floor. (That’s not exactly something you’d come across in 40k because everything sucks).

fulgrim RUMOR: More Daemon Primarchs On The Way For 40k!

However, we can’t be closed to the idea that this could be part of the Fulgrim model we’ve been hearing rumors about. We know he likes to party on his pleasure planet. He might’ve brought a little spending money from it with him! Turning back to the more likely answer, this could be part of some scenic terrain with some kind of rules for the AoS tabletops. We’re not exactly sure beyond knowing that we’re looking at someone’s treasure.

What do you think the rumor engine bit goes to? Is it for 40k or AoS? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
