Warhammer Stores Change Their Logo Around the World

Games Workshop is rolling out a new logo incorporating all of the games and hobbies that they make into one. Check out the new symbol.

With Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar being Games Workshop’s bread and butter, they’ve decided that they needed a logo switch-up. But the logo doesn’t just cover 40k and AoS. It covers all of the other minigames, board games, painting lessons, and everything else to do with the hobby.

Warhammer now means a lot more than models – it’s a way of life! So, we’ve made a logo designed to capture it all, featuring those two classic symbols of our worlds – hammers and eagles.

This is the new logo that we’ll be seeing more of. It incorporates the symbol for Sigmar’s hammer and transitions into the classic Imperial Eagle. Get ready to see this little piece of artwork pop up in GW stores and more!

What Does the Hobby Mean to You?

Some eagle-eyed fans may have noticed this logo already starting to crop up in a couple of places. When you see this Warhammer logo, you’ll know that something is officially part of your favourite hobby. What’s more, it’ll make getting your Christmas and birthday gifts easier for your friends and family – all they need to do is look for the logo.

We’re going to be getting this universal sign to symbolize everything that makes Games Workshop, Games Workshop! What’s even more good news is that when it comes time for your family to gift shop for you, you can just point them in the direction of the winged hammer.

Of course, it probably goes without saying that this rollout is probably one of the reasons GW went after the miniature company previously known as War Banner so hard recently as the similarities between that logo and the new GW one are slight but noticeable.
