Forge World is reopening again on Wednesday for sales, but the bigger question is, perhaps, will prices stay the same or go up when they are back online?
Coming from Warhammer Community, they’ve just announced that Forge World would be reopening before the week is over. After seeing all of the price hike changes on GW’s main webstore, once Forge World becomes operational once again, there is always that possibility we could be seeing prices adjusted as well.
Forge World Reopening Wednesday: Will Prices Stay the Same?
…after weeks of lockdown, and some stalwart efforts from the folks in our warehouse and factory, we’re delighted to announce that the Forge World online store is set to reopen this coming Wednesday!
Yep, time to dust off those wishlists – from Wednesday the 17th of June, you’ll be able to order all your favourite Forge World kits.
We don’t have any more information other than to look ahead to Wednesday this week. While the worldwide crisis has had its effect on businesses from all over, GW seems to be the only one in the wargaming space that has continued to raise prices in the face of it all. With Forge World being a part of GW, we may see those price hikes hit their resin line shortly too.
We will be covering what, if anything changes, once the webstore goes live, so keep your eyes peeled for more potential price adjustments. Given the track record from Forge World, this would be their third year in a row of price increases if it comes to pass.
What do you think about the GW price hikes? Could we be seeing prices go up on Forge World’s webstore too? Which Forge World kit are you wanting to be good in 9th Edition?
