Biggest Chaos Points Changes: 40k Chapter Approved 2021

chapter-aproved-points-changes-chaosTons of new points changes are coming to the Chaos Factions via the 2021 edition of Chapter Approved. Let’s check out the biggest changes.

Spotted on Reddit, multiple users broke down all the biggest points changes for a majority of the Chaos Factions. They all look correct to us, but you can also check them out for yourself over on Imgur at this link: Chaos Space Marines.

With that in mind, let’s jump right in and see how the meta might shift. A lot of specific factions barely received anything so, we won’t cover too much of those super small changes.

If you missed our thoughts on the other points changes from this book you can check them out below as well!

Chaos Space Marines

Chaos Marines

Nothing too crazy here, mainly some little drops. The Venomcrawler going down 20 points is nice, but again, let’s just hope they get a codex soon because these meager point drops probably aren’t enough to really push them.

Daemons

  • New Be'lakor 40kLord of Change +20
  • Be’lakor 360 Points

Nothing too crazy, but the LoC changes seem to have people upset. Having Be’lakkor’s points is nice, but that’s quite the hefty price tag, but we assume he’ll be in a ton of armies.

Thousand Sons

grey knights & thousand Sons revealed

  • Tzaangors -2
  • DP -10
  • Ahriman +10
  • Rubrics 21
  • Warpflamer -2
  • Scarabs 40
  • Shaman -15

Just keep in mind, none of these will take place until they receive the new codex. There are a lot of changes, but we just don’t know if they will be buffs or nerfs.

If you want to see the changes to the current points, check them out here. There aren’t a ton of changes overall, so let’s hope we get to see a new book for CSM soon and finally let them have their time in the sun in 9th!

Do you like the look of these point changes? Are you going to pick any new models up to change your lists?
