Another off-meta Warhammer 9th Edition 40k army list emerged in the Fabricators Forge RTT, check this one out!
9th Edition’s meta is again in flux, but some players are taking lists with units that nobody was expecting. Check out this awesome homebrew list that emerged in a tournament over the weekend. This just goes to show us that sometimes it’s more about the general’s skill than what you play.
Top Homebrew 40k Army List: Fabricators Forge RTT

If you wanted to see the names and factions of the overall winners, we’ve included that below.
However, we aren’t covering all those lists, instead, we will be looking at just one of our favorites this week.
7th Place: Ryan Snyder- Adeptus Custodes
Ryan went for a spearhead of Shadowkeepers Custodes, which isn’t exactly groundbreaking, but he does return to an old strategy that makes his approach a little more unique!
His detachment is led by a Jetbike Captain, which has always been a fantastic unit for its re-roll aura and all-around great statline, mobility, and weapons! Elites see two Dreads join the fold bringing in Destructors for some versatile high strength 3 damage shots that can take out marines or vehicles alike.
Fast Attacks take up a whopping 850 points of Vertus Praetors with Salvos, making them mobile threats that can decimate squads thanks to its blast trait or even take on vehicles with its high ap and strength.
Finally, the twist in the list comes from 3 Grav-tanks which haven’t seen much play recently but used to be unmatched in point efficiency. As it turns out, while they might not be as amazing as they once were, they can still do work!
Great weapons, decent durability, and mobility all make for a pretty good unit pumping long-range shots over the course of the game.
