Chaos Space Marines Daemon Weapons Rules are Spicy!

New-Chaos-Rules-Codex-Space-Marines-GW-Warhammer-40kNew 40k Chaos Space Marines rules have been spotted, this time for the Daemon Weapons, and they are still dangerous to use.

We know that Chaos is finally getting its time in the sun soon and with even more of the rules coming from GW, it’s coming up fast! They only show off what a couple of the weapons can do (but do mention there will be 5), but do highlight the drawback they all come with (as daemon weapons should)l and the improved LD is going to help stave off the daemonic powers inside.

Let’s start with some of the overall rumors we’ve seen, then check out the new rules from Warhammer Community!

Plus, we’ve already seen the Raptors and Warp Talon Rules, so if you missed those you can check them all out by clicking here or the Lord, Sorceror, and more by clicking here.

Chaos Space Marines Daemon Weapons Rules are Spicy!

Daemon Weapons rules

Bending a daemon to your will is a tricky business, as the immortal creatures of the empyrean are beings of pure Chaos who have known true freedom since the first thinking beings crawled from the mud. Wielding a Daemon Weapon is therefore a constant battle of wills – the bearer must wrestle their unwilling compatriot into line, lest their very soul become a tasty lunch box.

As always, Deamon Weapons have a drawback and this one is actually not too bad considering all the HQs now look to have at least LD 9. So, you should pass most of them, however, when you do fail, it’s a pretty big issue.

Daemon Weapons rules 2

For those able to corral their infernal accessories, the reward is power beyond any mortal blade. The new codex includes a daemon weapon for each of the Chaos Gods to bequeath upon their champions – KHORNE, NURGLE, SLAANESH, and TZEENTCH – and even those who praise CHAOS UNDIVIDED will find the power of the warp within their grasp.

This one can be insanely strong, as every single time it wounds the target, it does an additional mortal. With how many attacks a lot of the models have this could add a ton of damage.

Daemon Weapons rules 3

Each of these five Relics can be given to one of your characters – but while mortal Relics are usually tied to a specific type of weapon, the mutable nature of daemonhood allows you to make a daemon weapon from almost any kind of melee masher. Fancy jamming Ul’o’cca the Black into a massive axe? How about a crackling force stave? Why not! You could even bind it to some squirming mechatendrils…

This on average will add 4 extra attacks, which is really great! Plus, you can get up to 6 extra attacks and that’s just insane.
