The next installments of the new Forge World Horus Heresy Upgrade Kits are here, this time for the Death Guard!
We know now that these won’t be in plastic, so if you were hoping for all-new plastic, it looks like we won’t be getting everything in plastic after all… However, the Death Guard upgrade kits are pretty cool, and it’s always nice to see more upgrades!
Warhammer Community unveiled the new bits, but if you want to also take a look at all the previous kits they released already, click here for that.
Death Guard Forge World Horus Heresy Upgrade Kits Announced
There are three different helmet designs for your troops, each featuring grilles, rivets, and a grim spike. We don’t recommend headbutting a Space Marine, but these make it even more of a dicey prospect. There’s also a slightly more ostentatious helmet for your squad leader, as well as a bare head to show off the sickly features of a warrior from Barbarus.
These are pretty cool and capture the Death Guard’s old-school feel!
You’ll also be able to get a set of moulded resin shoulder pads for the XIV Legion. These are the perfect way to finish your miniatures if you’re looking for an alternative to the Legion transfer sheet.
The shoulder pads are also some of the coolest we’ve seen, so we’re all about it; plus, the last few actually came up for pre-order pretty quickly.
So we expect to see them hit shelves sooner rather than later this go around.
