Top 5 Forge World Primarchs That Need a Face Lift

primarch miniature reboot facelift redesign forge world games workshop horus heresyWith the new Horus Ascendant miniature announced, we wanted to take a look at the top 5 Forge World Primarchs that need an update!

Obviously, this is just like, our opinion, man, so don’t get too upset if you find your favorite Primarchs on the list. We also want to know what primarch you think should be added to the list as well!

Let’s start by looking at what got us thinking about the idea (well, Games Workshop actually said they would remake the Primarchs miniatures already), then get into the list.

Top 5 Forge World Primarchs That Need an Update

This comes from Warhammer Community.

Horus Ascended

Rendered in highly detailed resin, this model is the first in a new Character Series from Forge World, representing each of the Primarchs at the height of the Heresy – whether they’re fully under the sway of Chaos, or rallying to defend the Imperium in its darkest hour – giving us a fresh look at the driving characters of this epic saga as they lead their Legions into the biggest battles.

To us, this sounds a lot like Games Workshop is going to be remaking each of the Primarchs against starting with this version of Horus!

So here’s what models we want to see redone, in no specific order.

Roboute Guilliman

Primarch FaceliftIf we’re being honest, this is a boring mini. While there is a lot of detail, it just doesn’t really do it for us. Especially for such an important character, he’s pretty uninspiring and supposed to be quite the opposite!

He’s an iconic character, and with all the art for him, we’re sure they could find something else to go off and make the model exciting (especially because this version is currently $123).

Fulgrim

The model itself isn’t too bad (but could definitely use a facelift), but considering he eventually becomes a daemon, making an ascended version seems way too easy for GW. Plus, the model could definitely use a little something.

fulgrim RUMOR: More Daemon Primarchs On The Way For 40k!Obviously, there is a ton of artwork out there, all the way from the normal Primarch to the daemon. So GW has a lot to choose from and could easily make this bigger and better!

Corvus Corax

Primarch Facelift 2

There’s something oddly clunky about this model; while it’s super dynamic, it would be cool to see a rework and maybe fix some of the clunky issues.

Rogal Dorn

This is just boring; not too many other ways to look at it. This pose just really makes him look like he’s an old man taking a break in the middle of battle.

Rogal DornWhile he might not be the most interesting Primarch out there, his defense of Terra was his shining moment, so it would be obvious to make him big and bad!

Leman Russ

leman russThis one might make some people mad, but there’s just something about the sculpt that we feel could be redone. Especially considering he is such an iconic Primarch!

Which of the Forge World Horus Heresy Primarchs Miniatures would you like to see get an update or redone?
