1st Place: Thomas Ogden – Tau
Thomas had a two detachment list of Tau, starting with a Patrol led by a Coldstar Commander and Longstrike. The commander sports fantastic mobility and great ranged weapon threats. Longstrike is a tank and, as such, has decent durability and great ranged power as well.
Troops keep it to a minimum with 10 Kroot for cheap bodies.
Elites have a ton of point investment all inside a total of 10 Crisis suits running a variety of weapons that can target a variety of armored or unarmoured targets. These are also fairly durable models, essentially acting as more ranged focussed SM Terminators.
Flyers close out the patrol and bring in 2 Shark Bombers for mobility and some extra passive damage output.
Finally, the second detachment finishes the list with Shadowsun, who is quite simply the best single model in the Tau Faction. With a fantastic stat line, weapons, and abilities, she is simply too good not always to consider when building a tau list.
