1st Place: Alberto Nicolás – T’au Empire

Alberto Nicolás 1

Alberto brought the new Tau to victory with an army led by two Cadre Fireblades for extra shots. Farsight is a great melee model in an army with very few of them, and a Coldstar adds a super mobile solo ranged threat.

Alberto Nicolás 2

Troops saw two units of Breachers for cheap units that get slightly better in closer-range skirmishes.

Alberto Nicolás 3

Two devilfish act as cheap transportation for the Breachers, and two Crisis units add some more durable terminator-like ranged threats with Ion Blasters to target pretty much anything thanks to AP and high strength.

Alberto Nicolás 4

A Ghostkeel is another durable ranged threat, this time with the unique ability to negate two hits completely. Three units of Kroot Hounds offer cheap distractions that can maybe tie up an enemy unit (but primarily score objectives), and three Piranhas added in more mobility with some chip damage potential.

Alberto Nicolás 5

Closing out the list, Alberto fielded two units of Stealth battlesuits, which brought in some great chaff-clearing weapons. Meanwhile, three units of Tetras added more mobility and abilities to help take down the enemy faster.

So, Overall, the T’au Empire army led by Alberto Nicolás emerged as the winner of The Wardome GT event, thanks to their unique selection of troops, effective use of mobility, and ranged threats. The event also featured other impressive 40k army lists, including Adeptus Mechanicus and Black Legion, which finished close behind.
