Sisters of Battle just got even more support previewed for their faction! Check out this brand new model that GW has been working on!
Coming from the Battle Sister Bulletin, Warhammer Community revealed the new Canonness model coming to the faction when all of their support gets fully released. Check out all of their previous reveals if you haven’t already and get caught up.
GW Previews New Canoness Model For Sisters
Canonesses are the martial and spiritual commanders of the Orders Militant of the Adepta Sororitas. Each is a shining example of purity and dedication of purpose, a veteran warrior of hundreds of battles and a slayer of the faithless in numerous war zones. To be a Canoness requires a combination of strong leadership, shrewd tactical acumen and unmatched faith in the Emperor.
A lot of love has gone into this Soriritas character behind the scenes. She has a power sword, staff, and a barely visible plasma pistol hiding under her cloak.
Canonesses are essentially what Captains are to Space Marines. However, in the Sororitas, they also double as spiritual leaders. Rocking a Rosary bead for every heroic deed done in battle, the Cannoness is someone you don’t want to mess with. Looking at the model itself, the Sisters are proving to be more and more detailed as time goes on.
This Cannoness they showcased also has a left bionic leg. And while we’re not sure if there will be multiple Cannoness models, this unit definitely is an improvement from the old one.
However, some of the details here look a little flat as if they are not the final renders. Compare these to the exclusive sister Novena, and the “old” celestine.
