Before You Rebase Your Minis AoS Players Read This

aos wal hor stormcast sigmar

Before you rebase your minis, read all the changes that GW dropped in their latest Age of Sigmar FAQ recently. A ton of models have been added and changed!

Right around the start of AoS 2.0, GW came out with a chart showing the proper base sizes for models so everything could be moved to the round bases. Now, Games Workshop just added to the list for base sizes on some Forge World factions as well as updated some others.

Check it out.

AoS Base Sizes Get Updated Again

Games Workshop came out and said that these are just Suggestions. don’t panic thinking you have to rebase your minis overnight. However, if you are working or plan to update your bases soon, you definitely want to check out all the changes to this chart for sure.

beasts of chaos bases

As part of the most recent Battletome, Beasts of Chaos have been added to the list of rounds.

blades of khorne bases

A few new Khorne units were thrown in as well as Karanak’s base size changed for a second time. Karanak now sits with all of the other Flesh Hounds at a 60 x 35 instead of his old 75 x 42.

maggotkin base sizes

The Harbinger of Decay is in the same boat as Karanak. He’s been switched around from a 60mm to a 74 x 42.

Forge World Factions & Monsters Added In

chaos-dwarf

legion of azgorh bases

tarmurkhans horde bases

monsters of destruction bases

It took a while, but Forge World’s factions made it into the update, as well as, some of the more rare Beasts you’ll find on the tabletop too.

Overall, there are a few changes here and there sprinkled over all of the factions in AoS. Make sure you check on what you play to see if you’re playing with the new standard.

Remember these are just suggestions per GW! Did you already switch your Forge World factions over to the sizes you thought they would fit best?
