Hedonites of Slaanesh champions of excess

Here is the latest on the Hedonites of Slaanehs rules for the 4th Edition Age of Sigmar from Warhammer Community.  Even locked up in his secret cell, Slaanesh’s vibes still manage to sneak into the Mortal Realms. His gig is all about overdoing it, and even though he’s on lockdown, his crew, the Hedonites of Slaanesh, never stop hustling.

Mortals keep falling for their feels, which amps up Slaanesh’s power bit by bit. Morathi-Khaine’s play for godhood just made it worse by unleashing the twins, Synessa and Dexcessa, who are now making moves in preparation for his comeback.

Battle Traits

Battle TraitsHedonites don’t do things halfway in war. Each battle round is a chance to unleash an Excess of Depravity, offering pain and predation to their unholy patron. This ability makes three units go Euphoric Killers, frenzied with slaughter and bonuses.

The enemy can use temptation dice to turn the tide, but with a risk of mortal damage – the cost of dealing with the Prince of Pleasure.

Battle Formations

Battle Formations

They also have a smorgasbord of battle styles. For them, even getting seriously injured is just another chance to savor the chaos in their Depraved Carnival of SYBARITES. Their warriors dive into a frenzy as The Ecstatic Throngs revel in the madness of battle.

Other formations? They’ve got plenty. Picture Seeker cavalry zooming around at breakneck speeds, darting in and out of combat like it’s a game. Then there are those who tear down the thin veil of reality to bring in more daemonic buddies or the cocky champions whose devoted followers snag objectives to impress their flawless masters.

Arcana & Incantations

Battle Formations

Wizards who follow Slaanesh are all about the Lore of Extravagance, turning emotions—both theirs and their enemies’—into deadly weapons. With a sprinkle of Sadistic Spite, they can whip their EUPHORIC allies into a frenzy of unspeakable carnage.

Slaanesh’s magic also has a knack for messing with enemy minds, creating an arcane haze that leaves them vulnerable and confused.

4th Edition AoS Rules: Hedonites of Slaanesh Warscrolls

Shalaxi Helbane

Shalaxi Helbane

Shalaxi Helbane is the ultimate brawler in Slaanesh’s roster. This Keeper of Secrets has one mission: to utterly humiliate all the enemies of the Dark Prince in one-on-one duels.

Shalaxi moves with Supernatural Grace, dodging attacks like it’s a casual dance. As a Paramount Hunter, they zero in on the biggest threats, intercepting enemy heroes right as they think they’re about to make a grand entrance.

While Shalaxi is busy dueling, they egg on their allies to unleash an Excess of Violence, basically telling them to go berserk and fight with double the ferocity, giving them a second wind in the same Combat phase.

Fiends

Fiends

Slaanesh’s daemonspawn are a weird and captivating bunch, but Fiends take the cake as the most twisted mix of beast and nightmare.

These critters ooze a Soporific Musk that lulls enemies into a deep stupor before they strike with their deadly, yet oh-so-graceful pincers. Their Disruptive Song? It’s a haunting melody that shatters a sorcerer’s focus, turning even the simplest spellcasting into a Herculean task.

Symbaresh Twinsouls

Symbaresh Twinsouls

Slaanesh’s mortal warriors are just as terrifying as their daemonic pals. These egomaniacal fighters often make dark deals for their power. Take the Symbaresh Twinsouls, for instance—they’ve handed their bodies to daemons for Fiendish Reflexes, making them nearly untouchable in combat.

They dive into a friendly competition of Ego-Driven Excess with their fellow Twinsouls, attacking with ever-escalating ferocity, overwhelming their foes and leaving them barely any time to strike back.

Fane of Slaanesh

Fane of Slaanesh

The twisted antics of the Hedonites of Slaanesh can conjure up a Fane of Slaanesh, a profane altar that serves as a Damned Conduit to the Dark Prince himself.

By sacrificing some flesh to the fane, a unit gets a sweet deal for the rest of the turn—they can become faster, stronger, or even more skilled in the arcane arts. Talk about a power-up!

The Blades of the Lurid Dream Spearhead, led by a Shardspeaker, command bloodthirsty libertines who strike from swirling clouds of intoxicating fog. Each battle round, you can offer your enemies temptation dice. If they accept, they can fix failed rolls, but if they refuse, they’ll suffer mortal damage.

Every accepted dice builds up your depravity points, giving your whole Spearhead force powerful buffs. No enemy is safe from the Slickblade Seekers, who charge into battle on trilling mounts with Unrivalled Velocity.

“Spearhead” is a standalone game that’s just right for diving into epic battles in Age of Sigmar. It’s small enough to fit on a kitchen or coffee table, and you only need one Spearhead box to get the games going for the 4th Edition.

The best part? You can snag free downloads with different rules, warscrolls, and objectives.

In conclusion, the Hedonites of Slaanesh offer a thrilling playstyle for those who wish to try their luck in the 4th Edition Age of Sigmar.

The battle traits have been revamped to give Slaanesh players more control over buffing their units. Now, it’s all about balancing the thrill of success (Euphoric Killers) with the risk of tempting your opponent (An Excess of Depravity).
