Killaboss on Great Gnashtoof

Killaboss on Great GnashtoofLegendary Killabosses love to flaunt their status by getting their hands on some of the most terrifying swamp beasts from the Beastbreakaz. One of these monsters is the Great Gnashtoof – a massive, ferocious hound that’s as fast as it is deadly.

Murknob with Belcha-banna

Murknob with Belcha-banna

Murknobs are the top dogs among the Kruleboyz, and they love collecting heads – fair and square or not. These elite warriors get the special privilege of carrying the Belcha-bannas into battle, each one a nasty relic packed with all sorts of weird powers.

Beast-skewer Killbow

The Beast-skewer Killbow is a nasty piece of work designed for one thing: taking down the biggest beasts with ruthless precision. Operated by Kruleboyz chosen for their sharpshooting skills, this brutal ballista can bring down even the toughest Monsters.

Man-skewer Boltboyz

Man-skewer Boltboyz

Man-skewer Boltboyz are infamous for their use of crude crossbows in ranged battles. Their melee-focused buddies might mock them for being cowards, but these sly Kruleboyz couldn’t care less. They relish the chance to impale enemies with two-foot-long bolts, enjoying every moment of their victims’ screams and writhing as they reload for the final killshot.

Gutrippaz

GutrippazArmed with jagged spears and vicious hand weapons, the Gutrippaz are the backbone of any Kruleboyz army. They advance in ragtag phalanxes, their menacing skareshields emerging from the mystical mists conjured by Swampcalla Shamans. This creepy display sends lesser foes and dumb beasts running before the battle even begins.

Is the Orruk Warclans Spearhead Worth It?

          Kruleboyz cunning but brutal

In terms of raw value, this is totally worth a pickup! However… a lot of this stuff was in the Dominion box back for the start of 3rd Edition AoS. And, you can actually find that box for really cheap on the secondary market, which means if you can find that, you can get about three times the minis and not spend much more cash (we found the one below for only five more bucks).

Warhammer Dominion - Age of Sigmar
          • SHRINK WRAPPED
          • Includes the full Warhammer Age of Sigmar Core Book for the latest edition, with an exclusive cover only available in this set
          • If you’re looking to plunge headfirst into the new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, look no further than this glorious boxed set
          • Exclusive cover only available in this set

So, while this does have decent value, it’s more of a repackaging than anything. We would try to find the Dominion box or the Kruleboyz side of it and really save some cash!

          What to Buy Next?

Kruleboyz armyAgain, if you can find Dominion for cheap, that, combined with this (or just the Spearhead itself), gets you a great starting force. However, you’ll want to add some more characters and some heavy hitters! Maybe a Troggoth and a Skumdrekk will really bring out the pain!

With the new edition here, it’s hard to talk about the meta since it’s just starting. There is also something to be said about just buying the minis you think are cool and building an army around them! Don’t forget to grab the new rules for this faction and brush up on how to play them. We’ve got you covered in this article!

The Kruleboyz Spearhead offers a great way for new players to start building their armies and explore the faction.
