Ossiarch Bonereapers The Osseous Hosts

Here is the latest on the Ossiarch Bonereapers rules for the 4th Edition Age of Sigmar from Warhammer Community. Nagash, being the control freak he is, relies on a council of Mortarchs to enforce his rule. These guys have their own armies of undead minions.

So, Nagash thought, “Why not create the perfect army?” And voila, the Ossiarch Bonereapers were born. These bone soldiers are crafted from armored bone and infused with warrior souls bound to Nagash’s will. Leading this bone battalion is Orpheon Katakros, a military genius who once fought against Nagash but switched sides for the chance to perfect his deadly craft forever. After some drama with the God-King Sigmar, Katakros is back, commanding the Bonereapers ruthlessly.

Battle Traits

Battle Traits

The Ossiarch Bonereapers fight with something called Relentless Discipline, meaning they follow orders to the letter. In each phase of battle—Movement, Charge, and Combat—they have options that allow a HERO to command troops with precision.

They can make an Unstoppable Advance, launch a coordinated charge, or form Impenetrable Ranks, depending on what’s needed.

Battle Formations

Battle Formations

The Bonereapers have four main formations in their arsenal. The Mortisan Council, for example, is all about crafting soldiers and war machines, boosting their magical abilities when working together.

Other formations focus on massed artillery, tireless cavalry, or relentless waves of infantry.

Arcana & Incantations

Arcana & Incantations

Their weapons are infused with magic from Shyish, capable of devouring souls. Need to take out a pesky enemy? A Bonereaper spellcaster can Empower Nadirite Weapons, letting them hit harder in melee combat.

These weapons have a standard crit, and your soldiers can pack a punch with the right spell.

4th Edition AoS Rules: Ossiarch Bonereapers Warscrolls

Vokmortian, Master of the Bone-tithe

Vokmortian, Master of the Bone-tithe

The Ossiarch Bonereapers, under the watchful (figurative) eye of Vokmortian, Master of the Bone-tithe, are relentless in their task. Vokmortian, speaking with the Voice of Nagash, sows doubt among enemies, making it costly for them to perform actions like moving or charging.

He can also bind foes with a Mortal Contract, causing them damage each time they target your unit.

Mortisan Soulmason

Mortisan Soulmason

Every Mortisan Soulmason in Nagash’s mighty legions is basically a wizard of soul science, expertly juggling the spirit-energies that fuel the Ossiarch war machine. They can cast spells like Soul-Guide, energizing your unit to Strike-first.

Necropolis Stalkers

Necropolis Stalkers

Necropolis Stalkers are towering constructs that break enemy lines with ferocious precision. They cycle through different Aspects in battle, each empowering them for specific tasks—whether it’s reducing enemy control or piercing defenses.

Mortek Crawler

Mortek Crawler

Then there’s the Mortek Crawler, a siege engine with a will of its own. Its crew loads it with enchanted ammunition, unleashing a Deathly Barrage that can cause enemies to suffer from Strike-last, making them easier to take down with multiple volleys.

When Ossiarch Bonereapers need to convince stubborn folks to hand over their souls and bones, they call in the Tithe-Reaper Echelon Spearhead.

“Spearhead” is a standalone game that’s just right for diving into epic battles in Age of Sigmar. It’s small enough to fit on a kitchen or coffee table, and you only need one Spearhead box to get the games going for the 4th Edition. The best part? You can snag free downloads with different rules, warscrolls, and objectives.

With powerful leaders, formidable battle formations, and magical weaponry, it’s time for the Ossiarch Bonereapers to march into the Mortal Realms and unleash some soul-devouring, bone-crushing action.
