1st Place: Lawrence Paladin – Genestealer Cults Army Lists
The Hive Mind whispers, and Lawrence listens—then promptly sends a tidal wave of alien-adjacent fanatics straight into the heart of the Bedlam in the ’Burgh. If you heard something scratching under the floorboards at the event, don’t worry—it wasn’t rats. It was probably Purestrains.
The leadership trio—or should we say, council of creepy—starts with two Abominants, each the size of a small nightmare, and just as subtle. Backing them up, a Patriarch brings psychic might, claws, and daddy issues, while a Reductus Saboteur brings the party favors. And by party favors, we mean explosives.
Troops are where the swarm starts to show. One unit of hybrids packs pistols for mid-range poking, while three others wield hand flamers—perfect for clearing objectives or causing some light panic among less durable units.
Aberrants take care of the heavy lifting—literally. Two units of these gene-spliced bruisers walk straight into melee and solve problems the old-fashioned way. You’ve got armor? They don’t care. You’ve got a plan? They still don’t care.
Speed and shots come courtesy of two Ridgerunners, which may look like mining vehicles but handle like off-road assassins. They scoot around the map causing enough disruption to make your opponent wish they’d brought more screens—or more Exterminatus.
Three Goliath Rockgrinders provide that classic Genestealer Cults combo of transport and violence. They haul troops toward objectives while packing just enough firepower to remind enemies they’re not just there to carpool.
And then there are the Purestrain Genestealers—three units of them. These are the real deal. No guns, no subtlety, just razor claws and fanatical speed.
2nd Place: Joseph Sault – Imperial Agents Army Lists
3rd Place: Daniel Brown – Space Wolves Army Lists
Final Thoughts on Army Lists:
In the grand melee of the Bedlam in the ‘Burgh, the Genestealer Cults proved that a horde of fanatical aliens can really shake things up, while the Imperial Agents played their cards expertly to secure a solid second place. The Space Wolves, ever the fierce contenders, reminded everyone that sometimes a little loyal ferocity goes a long way.
So, whether you’re planning to play in the next big tournament or just looking to spice up your games at home, take a page from these winners and remember: every unit counts, and sometimes, all you need is a good plan and a whole lot of golden armored bodies.
