1st Place: Larry Paladin – Space Marines (Ultramarines) Army Lists

Larry didn’t show up to the Fabricators Forge RTT with surprises. He showed up with Guilliman, Calgar, and a very clear message: read the Codex, or get steamrolled by it.

This Ultramarines list looked like it walked straight off a recruitment poster—if that poster came with armor-piercing shells and a stern lecture on proper formation spacing.

Leading the charge were not one, but two Captains—one rocking standard armor, the other in Gravis gear for that extra chunk of battlefield presence.

Add in a Lieutenant with a combi-weapon for some added fire support and reroll goodies, and you’ve got a leadership core that’s all business, no nonsense, and very blue.

But it doesn’t stop there. Calgar and Guilliman were both on the field, and that’s never a casual choice. Calgar handles the face-punching and CP economy, while Guilliman turns the whole army into a well-oiled machine of destruction and morale-boosted glory.

Troop support came from a single Intercessor squad. Not flashy, but reliable. Sometimes you just need five bolters on an objective saying, “This is ours now.”

The transport of choice? An Impulsor. It’s quick, it’s tough enough to survive the trip, and it gets key units into the thick of it before your opponent figures out what’s happening.

When something needs to explode at long range, two Ballistus Dreadnoughts answer the call. They’re built to crack armor, delete elite units, and stand around looking smug about it.

On the more flexible side, a unit of Company Heroes brought great weapons and enough utility to handle whatever needed handling—melee scrapping, objective duty, or just looking cool near the Captains. Scouts jumped in too, doing their usual thing: being cheap, annoying, and showing up in places that cause problems.

The Sternguard Veterans brought some heat with two full squads. These aren’t just fancy Intercessors—they’re elite shooters that also enjoy a good brawl.

And then, in true “don’t forget the heavy guns” fashion, Larry wrapped the list with two Vindicators. Not subtle. Not fast. Just big guns on thick hulls, rolling forward with bad intentions and a nostalgic nod to every 90s Marine player who ever said, “What if I just had a cannon the size of a Rhino?”
