1st Place: Josh Roberts – Blood Angels Army Lists
When the Blood Angels show up, it’s rarely quiet. And at the Glasshammer Major, Josh’s list didn’t just make noise—it delivered the full operatic drama of angelic warriors tearing across the battlefield like they’ve got somewhere better to be (spoiler: it’s your deployment zone).
Leading the crimson charge were three characters with more command presence than a Primarch family reunion. A Captain, a Chaplain, and a Lieutenant (with a combi-weapon for flair and function) formed the core trio, handing out buffs like Oprah hands out free cars.
Two Impulsors kicked things off, doing double duty as transports and shooty boxes with wheels. They’re fast, they hit decently hard, and they keep the squishier Marines from catching a krak missile to the face before they get where they’re going.
Then the muscle rolls in: three squads of Assault Intercessors. Think of them like guided missiles with jump packs and anger issues.
The Ballistus Dreadnoughts brought in the long-range bite. Two of them. These things parked themselves, drew line of sight to whatever shiny tank or monster your opponent had, and then politely turned it into flaming debris.
Need something tougher? Enter the Bladeguard Veterans. Three units of them. These aren’t just elite infantry—they’re walking tanks with swords, and they fight like they’re still mad about Sanguinius.
Mobility wasn’t ignored either. Two Outrider units sped across the board on massive bikes, bringing melee threats and target saturation at a pace that made Eldar jealous. When the rest of the army was busy throwing punches, these guys were busy grabbing ground and causing problems.
Scouts made a surprise return, too—two squads of them. They’re cheap, annoying in the early game, and sneakier than they look. Josh used them smartly, probably grabbing objectives or messing up movement plans.
And to finish things off, a unit of Sternguard Veterans jumped into the list. These are the elite gunmen of the Astartes world, able to put rounds into high-value targets without flinching. When fists weren’t the right answer, these guys made sure the message still got through—loud and hot.
2nd Place: Christopher Radford – Space Marines (Ultramarines) Army Lists
3rd Place: Vik Vijay – Eldar (Aeldari) Army Lists
Final Thoughts on Army Lists:
As the dust settles on the Glasshammer Major, we’ve witnessed the triumph of the Blood Angels, who zipped through the battlefield with the grace of a ballet dancer and the ferocity of a lion. Meanwhile, the Ultramarines proved that sometimes classic tactics win the day—in true blue fashion, they were the steady hand amid the chaos.
And let’s not forget the Eldar, gracefully flitting around the sidelines, using their wits and agility to frustrate opponents while dodging every attempt to pin them down.
So, whether you’re planning to play in the next big tournament or just looking to spice up your games at home, take a page from these winners and remember: every unit counts, and sometimes, all you need is a good plan and a whole lot of golden armored bodies.
