1st Place: Evan Stump – Dark Angels Army Lists
Evan’s Dark Angels didn’t just win the USA Charity Cup—they showed up in style and left with more than a trophy. They walked away with bragging rights, the admiration of both Imperium loyalists and heretics alike, and probably a few jealous glances from rival Chapter players. The Emperor approves, but he’s not the only one.
This army marched to victory under the iron halo of Azrael himself—Master of the Dark Angels, keeper of secrets, and all-around guy-you-do-not-want-to-charge-into. Flanked by a humble Lieutenant toting a combi-weapon (because who doesn’t love a little extra dakka and reroll magic?), the core of the force strikes that classic Dark Angels balance between unmovable defense and sudden, brutal offense.
Need something fast and mean? Enter: three units of Assault Intercessors with Jump Packs. These aren’t your average footsloggers—they hit the board with speed, drop the hammer in combat, and get into places where the more traditional Unforgiven might just mutter “Heretic” from afar and call it a day.
Backing them up are two squads of Deathwing Knights, those iconic Terminator-clad zealots who never met a threat they couldn’t tank. These guys make walls jealous. If that wasn’t enough, they’ve brought some friends: Inner Circle Companions, whose melee prowess means anything silly enough to get close is going to have a very bad time.
And then there’s the mobility squad—not everything in this list wears robes and stomps slowly toward glory. Three Invader ATVs provide a zippy way to get guns on target and apply some pressure. They’re not flashy, but they do their job, and that job is “point, shoot, move on.”
Speaking of guns, the Repulsor Executioners need a mention. Two of them. These aren’t just tanks—they’re mobile gun platforms that look at problems and solve them with extreme prejudice. Perfect for clearing out threats the Deathwing don’t feel like dealing with, or softening up targets for a jump pack charge.
Sprinkled in for spice are two squads of Scouts. These little troublemakers offer early board presence, snag objectives, screen out deep strikes, and remind everyone that battlefield control isn’t just about hitting stuff—sometimes it’s about being in the right place at the right time.
And then—plot twist—a Callidus Assassin. Subtle, deadly, and extremely rude to enemy characters, she’s that one unexpected move in a chess game that forces your opponent to stop smiling and start worrying. Excellent for throwing a wrench in psychic-heavy lists or causing command point headaches.
2nd Place: Durante “Glynisir” Bozzini – T’au Empire/ Tau Army Lists
3rd Place: Marshall Peterson – Orks Army Lists
Final Thoughts on Army Lists: USA Charity Cup
The results of the USA Charity Cup, saw the Dark Angels strutting away with the trophy while the T’au Empire plotted their next cunning tactics, and the Orks likely celebrated with a raucous ruckus. From the stoic Imperium, the strategery of the T’au, or the unpredictable chaos of the Orks, there’s never a dull moment on the tournament tables.
So, whether you’re planning to play in the next big tournament or just looking to spice up your games at home, take a page from these winners and remember: every unit counts, and sometimes, all you need is a good plan and a whole lot of golden armored bodies.
