40k Jaw Dropper: Terminator Teleportarium

Wyloch's Armory, Space Marine teleportarium conversionEvery now and again, we see some hobbying projects that are just over the top. Check out this incredible 40k teleportarium Terminator display!

William from Wyloch’s Armory wanted us to share his latest project with our readers.  He has taken hobbying to the next level by making a 5-man Terminator Teleportarium display board! Mixed with LEDs and leftover sprue pieces, these Terminators look like they just dropped into a Spacehulk and it’s time to party.

Hobby Flexing: Terminator Teleportarium Display

Taking the scale of a smaller display, this piece is definitely next-level. From salvaged Christmas lights hidden under the model platforms to ambient lighting on the walls, this display is definitely a head-turner.

It looks like something right out of the Spacehulk: Deathwing video game, just replaced with Ultramarines.

The inspiration for this came from the wording on the Terminators Datasheet. With Teleport Strike mentioning that the Terminators are waiting in the Teleportarium aboard a ship hovering over the battlefield, Wyloch thought “Why not actually have a Teleportarium for my units”.

So he made it! And if you look closely, you can see that the piping for the platform is just leftover sprue bits out of his hobby collection. Who would’ve thought they’d add some great plumbing and infrastructure elements to a display like this.

You Can Bring it With You On Game Day

One of the coolest features about this is that it’s fairly small. Only fitting five Terminators on the board, if you like fluffy games or just want to show off your hobbying skills, you can actually put your deepstriking squads right on this thing and have it sit next to you on the table.

While the display board you normally see is pretty and neat, the wiring work looks pretty complex. But don’t worry. If you’re looking to kill some time and make yourself your own version of this teleportarium, Wyloch actually made a tutorial video on how he made his!

After seeing this awesome piece, will you be making your own teleportarium? What squad will you be throwing on top of it?
