Battle Traits

Battle Traits

The Blades of Khorne harness pure violence to fill up their Blood Tithe, earning them nifty battle perks. Khorne doesn’t fuss about where the blood comes from; every unit destroyed in battle nets them a Blood Tithe point, which they can trade in for five awesome abilities.

Khorne’s followers have a few tricks up their blood-soaked sleeves. With the Spelleater Curse, they laugh in the face of puny sorceries. Their bloodlust often boils over into a Murderlust, letting them charge into combat even during the opponent’s turn. Once they’re in the thick of it, Heads Must Roll to meet the Blood God’s grim demands.

Battle Formations

Battle Formation

Khorne’s armies are a wild mix, from savage barbarians howling for blood to disciplined warlords. The Khornate Legion stands out because Khorne’s mortal followers often march into battle alongside daemonic hosts. These otherworldly Butchers of Nations show off their combat prowess, inspiring their mortal comrades to equally bloody deeds.

Some daemonic hosts prefer to fight solo, toughening up by spilling blood and warping reality. Mortal armies, on the other hand, focus on claiming territory and showing off their dominance.

Arcana & Incantations

Arcana and Incantations

Khorne’s ritualists don’t bother with spells; instead, they call on their god to smite their enemies with raw power. To give spellcasters a taste of their own medicine, they unleash Hexgorger Skulls.

These nasty manifestations react to nearby spellcasting by spewing molten blood. But their real claim to fame is as Hexgorgers, which aggressively shut down any spellcasting attempts by enemy Wizards.

4th Edition AoS Rules: Blades of Khorne Warscrolls

Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage

Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage

From the Sixth Host stomps out the Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage, a fearsome brute swinging the colossal Great Axe of Khorne. This bad boy can chop a Mega-Gargant in half, but it really loves mowing down waves of infantry. Its Shattering Charge is a death sentence for anyone daring to stand their ground, adding three extra mortal damage to the unlucky foot soldiers.

When this beast scores critical hits, things get spicy with Outrageous Carnage. Picture the ground exploding in flames, roasting anyone unfortunate enough to be in the vicinity. Talk about turning up the heat!

Bloodletters

Bloodletters

Bloodletters are the grunts of the Blood Legions, the most common daemons in Khorne’s roster. Despite their sheer numbers, each one is a fearsome fighter, wielding hellblades that heat up as they dive into battle, driven by a relentless and fiery obsession.

As they spill blood for their god, reality starts to unravel. The Thinning Veil kicks in, letting reinforcements claw their way from Khorne’s domain right into the heart of the fight. It’s like a never-ending daemon party, and everyone’s invited!

Karanak

Karanak

Karanak, the three-headed hound, spends most of his time hanging out by the Skull Throne of Khorne. He’s only unleashed when an enemy champion really ticks off his master.

The moment one of Karanak’s heads locks onto a target, the unfortunate soul is marked as the Prey of the Blood God, and Karanak will relentlessly Stalk the Prey wherever they go. As the First of the Pack, Karanak also leads packs of howling Flesh Hounds into battle, boosting their charge rolls.

Blood Warriors

Blood Warriors

Blood Warriors are among Khorne’s most loyal followers, relentless killers forming the iron heart of the Bloodbound warhorde. They charge into combat wielding Goreaxes and Goreglaives, eager to spill blood for their dark patron.

They know that Khorne wouldn’t mind taking their blood and skulls as tribute too, but they fight on with No Respite. Even in their dying moments, they lash out with renewed fury, hoping to double their gruesome offerings.

Together, this spearhead roams the lands in search of carnage.
