New X-Wing: C-ROC Expansion Pack Unboxing & Review!

C-ROC Unboxing Post

Get ready to guard fortresses and smuggle goods you scum. The C-ROC Expansion Pack is finally here, come take a look!

The C-ROC Expansion Pack for the Scum will bring them to Epic play finally and adds new versatility to the M3-A Syck Interceptor. What is even better is that Jabba the Hutt himself come included in this pack. The expansion pack is now on store shelves everywhere for $70 so of course we got our hands on this expansion and dove right in. Here is a sample of our full review:

The C-ROC itself has a good paint scheme and good weathering but no moving parts. It comes with two mounting points for its Epic Play stand, and seems to share some structural design components as the Gozanti. But, of course, it’s Scum. The M3-A Syck Interceptor that comes with it has an alteranate paint scheme and pretty cool pilot cards that come included.

There doesn’t appear to be any new play mechanic with this expansion besides dropping container obstacles off either side of the ship.

In game play the C-ROC functions just like the Gozanti stat-wise. For upgrades, it come with two crew, one team, and one hardpoint to arm with various weaponry such as the awesome 360 degree laser.

For the Syck, Sunny Bounder’s pilot card is quite interesting as it allows you to add one matching result if after, a re-roll, you get two of the same symbol. Quinn Jast’s pilot card can be a bit of a gun boat or a jouster with the ability to reacquire an ordinance. In theory, this could be done after performing a blow-by and, on the return, allow you to reengage the assault..

Plus there are several SCUM & REBEL ONLY faction upgrade cards that are available in this set.
