Asajj Ventris Star Wars LEgion 3Here’s what they have to say about the new expansion:

AMG Reveals Asajj Ventress Star Wars: Legion Rules

Asajj Ventress Rules

An Operative that can be taken by the CIS, she comes in at 150 points. Two Force and Training upgrades allow her a variety of deadly configurations. Her lightsabers have a powerful melee attack, with 8 black dice, Impact 2, and Pierce 2. Defensively, red defense dice and Immune: Pierce ensures that Asajj will be well protected as she hunts down her quarry. Her prowess as a self-reliant assassin is represented by Independent: Dodge 1, Jump 2, and Deflect. Asajj is also Indomitable and Relentless, a true testament to her singular drive and focus. Finally, Jar’Kai Mastery gives Asajj an edge in combat, allowing her to spend Dodge tokens to improve attack die results. While these talents are fearsome in their own right, read on to discover what more Ventress will bring to your games of Star Wars: Legion.

She has plenty of special rules and is great in combat, but maybe the most interesting thing is her price. She actually comes in at 5 points cheaper than General Grievous, which might signal a points update soon to some of the older units, or she might just be cheaper for a long time.

New Command Cards

Asajj Ventress Rules 2

Asajj Ventress comes with four new command cards to complement her already formidable skills. She gains Jedi Hunter from The Jedi Shall Fall, and the ability to take Suppression tokens to gain Dodge tokens, which Jar’Kai Mastery can then leverage. I Am Fear gives Asajj access to a free recover action, as well as a brutal attack with Spray and Suppressive. Her next card is Yes, My Master, which must be divulged during the Deploy Units step. It is Permanent and represents her capability to be utilized as a front-line leader or a sneaky assassin.

Obviously, she’s great at hunting Jedi! Her Jedi Hunter ability will get her all kinds of tokens and dice, so quite strong. I am Fear gives her a free recover action and lastly, she gets a bunch of extra special rules by divulging the card!

The last command card gives Ventress’ master Count Dooku even more options in battle. With The Sith Will Rule, Dooku can issue an order to himself and gives him an Aim and a Dodge token. It then allows Asajj to activate once Count Dooku has activated—a strong one-two punch that is sure to finish off a critical unit at an opportune moment.

When combined with this, you can easily make a great combo for your army!
