We’ve got a solid GW rumor engine that looks like a clawed hand holding a detonator, so get your thinking caps ready and dive in!
Warhammer Community just unveiled one more rumor engine and this time it looks like a mysterious detonator. Check out the details of this bit that look to be on the way for 40k or AoS.
Big Red Detonator: New GW Rumor Engine
This bit features a clawed hand holding some sort of detonator remote. Firstly, this bit is going to be in the SciFi setting, immediately knocking out the possibility of AoS. This is most likely coming to 40k, or perhaps a specialist game. Second, that hand is strikingly familiar to man Genestealer’s hands, along with the carapace-like armor on its arm. Lastly, the technology also resembles Guard, and in turn Genestealer Cult technology as well.

Looking at this Magus, the hand is pretty clearly almost identical to the ones in the rumor engine holding the detonator. Also, the back of the plate and the level of the tech also seem to support the idea of a Genestealer rumor engine.
Anyway, hopefully, we know sooner than later!
