Checkout the latest tantalizing teaser image that was just posted by Games Workshop for something undoubtedly 40k! Don’t miss this!

It was only a matter of time before Games Workshop’s media machine kicked in to pick up where the weekly White Dwarf left off:

All will be revealed this weekend…

Looks like the Rhana Dandra or the Eldar End Times will be sooner rather than later, as the Angel of Iyanden’s followers grow stronger in their pursuit of Ynnead, and what may see the Laughing God triumph over She who thirsts.

Kysaduras, known as The Anchorite, is an Eldar mystic. In 991.M41, he proclaimed that the End Times of the Eldar have begun

What We Already Know:

Whew, well let’s break this one down CSI style:

Having run out of options the Eldar look to now be on the precipice of hope for perhaps the survival of their race? The black watchmen perhaps are the Deathwatch (Ordo Xenos), and of course Cegorach, the laughing god can only laugh last and forever once he has tricked she who thirsts: Slaanesh!

Looks like the stage is being set for an EPIC showdown of galactic proportions at/ on Demesnus that may be coming out way next week!

Pick up the trail of Eldar Ulthran:

The Staff of Ulthamar leaves no room to question who this model is:

Take a closer look at these two pictures. There is a sprue of parts still missing…

It’s all fun and games until we see pictures of models, then it’s for real. Eldrad Ulthran figured prominently in the story of Abaddon’s last big crusade that was detailed, but never finalized, in the Eye of Terror codex from the early 2000’s. Now hot on the heels of rumors of a new rise of Chaos we see actual pictures of a plastic Eldrad.

Which begs the question, will he be part of a new supplement release, and does that mean we will see an Eye of Terror redux for 2016 featuring the 13th Black Crusade?

Bigger implications for image of course is the fact that to the best of my knowledge this will be the FIRST of the old school special characters to be made into plastic (and hopefully upscaled to 2016’s standards).

It also lends more weight to the fact that we have been hearing rumors of a Plastic Kharn the Betrayer model that may be on the way as well.

Hopefully this is the beginning of a beautiful release trend leading into a new edition of Warhammer 40k next summer.

Here’s the new revised Roadmap list of new releases that are on the rumor radar now with items bolded that are confirmed:

Non-Main Label

  • New LoTR Reboot with Iron Dwarves
  • Blood Bowl (2017)
  • Adeptus Titanicus

Will it happen? Who knows at this point, but this is more talk about Chaos than we’ve had in a long time, so I want to believe.
