Gather round folks and get the BIG skinny on whats happening here on Spikey Bits this weekend!

The past few months have been HUGE here at Spikey Bits, and we could not have done it with out you all! So please pat yourselves on the back for coming here to read our articles and supporting what we do!

We’re literally in trenches bringing the hobby back for you everyday and while it IS a lot of work, we do it because we love the hobby so much.

Moving forward we’ll be bringing you more daily features, both on the site and on YouTube for a wider range of topics in the table top wargaming world, along with our normal batch of exclusive and early access content that is over on the Long War site as well.

We’re able to do this because of the HUGE outpouring of support we’re getting over on our Patreon Page, and we can not thank you all enough for that.

A side effect of all of this growth has been the need to upgrade our servers yet again, so over the weekend we will not post any new articles as the site will migrate over to it’s new home. If all goes well there should be no down time, and the site will remain up the during the transition for you to catch up on this week’s content and news.

Now for the pitch: When shopping for a new server I went hard in the paint and tried to get a ‘bigger pair of shoes’ so to speak that hopefully we can have much more time to grow into. That being said it also became necessary because of the cost breakdown and savings to pay for a full year of hosting.

But don’t get it twisted, that hosting is costing us several thousand dollars and literally soaked up the majority of our left over money from the Long War Kickstarter.

So please since we’re basically back to zero money wise here again, please consider supporting what we do here by becoming a supporter on Patreon.

You’ll get a Spikey Bits Swag Bag, and free Horus Heresy Betrayal at Calth Squad (or an X-Wing/ Armada new release ship if your into Star Wars) just for signing up!

What we do here isn’t about money, BUT it literally takes money to do what we do!
