Get ready to do a little time travel and add some amazing characters to your forces with Cable and Domino for Marvel Crisis Protocol.
Even though time has no meaning as of late it’s been almost two years since Atomic Mass Games announced Marvel: Crisis Protocol at Gencon. Being able to play a game based in the Marvel universe has been really sweet and the game is constantly growing.
Two new characters are joining the game this time around, and Cable may be one of the coolest characters ever written into a comic. Well, that’s if you ask us, but hey, what’s not to love?
Cable & Domino: $39.95
The figures themselves are amazing looking! For the price, Crisis Protocol is a pretty fun game to get into, because you don’t need an insane amount of minis. And let’s be honest, they are just some of the most interesting characters around, because who doesn’t love a time-traveling mutant?
These aren’t out quite yet, but they do say they will be available in Q2 which is basically already upon us. If you are just getting into the game, you should really check out Battle Foams premade cases for the game. Let’s hear what they have to say about the new models:
Cable, the son of the X-Men leader Cyclops, was sent to the future to save his life when he was infected by the deadly techno-organic virus. Raised by Clan Askani, Cable was able to use his own incredible mutant powers to keep the virus in check, though the constant strain limits him from reaching his true potential. Granted incredible telepathic and telekinetic powers from his mutation, Cable is also equipped with advanced weaponry and technology from the 38th century
Neena Thurman, a.k.a. Domino, was the product of an illicit government program whose goal was to create the ultimate mutant weapon. Unwilling to be a pawn of anyone, Domino escaped with the help of her powers and set out to find her own path in the world.
That does it for this one, just don’t miss out on them when they go live!
