Death Guard Stand Strong: Top 40k Army Lists Alpine GT
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves.
3rd Place: Thomas Wobak – Eldar
2nd Place: Stefan Pazderka – Sisters of Battle
1st Place: Lukas Wobak – Death Guard
Lukas’ Death Guard was a single detachment led by 2 Plaguecasters and a Lord of Virulence. The Plaguecasters are great psykers with bonus mortal wound output, while the Lord of Virulence is a great re-roll lord that packs a serious punch thanks to his flamers and durability.
Troops bring in 39 Poxwalkers for cheap chaff units and 10 Plague Marines with a mix of special ranged and melee weapons to make the most out of them.
Elites go all-in on terminators with a total of 15 Blightlords and 10 Deathshroud. The Blightlords have much more flexible loadout options while the Deathshroud help to protect characters.
All 25 terminators are menaces in melee and extremely durable. Finally, there is a single tallyman to help get a few extra CP to help round out any rough turns.
