3 Days of New Previews at Warhammer Fest 2023
Three days of previews for eight games headed into summer. Plus, this time, we have at least an idea of what many of these will be, thanks to so many recent reveals.
Trust us you will absolutely not want to miss this one – it’s going to be a real showstopper.
The reveal stream will be hosted live on Twitch and Warhammer Community, and you’ll be able to watch it later if you’re still sensibly tucked up in bed or busy working when the show goes live.
Plus Games Workshop has a new selfie attraction for attendees in the form of an 11-foot-tall life-sized Terminator model!
One of the first things you’ll see when you walk into Manchester Central is this giant 11-foot-tall life-sized Terminator. Get your photos of him!
So you’ll probably see plenty of pictures with this big boy in the background over the weekend!
New Cities of Sigmar Minaitures
Straight from WHC, we’ve got some new Cities of Sigmar miniatures for their announced release later in 2023!
The Freeguild Cavaliers lead the charge against the enemies of Order. Decked out in ostentatious gear befitting their many victories and riding horses clad in detailed barding, they are a further glimpse at the wider aesthetic that defines the Cities of Sigmar. These are incredibly characterful and detailed miniatures – each a glimpse into the peoples and cultures under Sigmar’s banner.
With the Era of the Beast bringing its own challenges, these hard-hitting horsemen are equipped with an armoury of weapons to shatter the shield-walls of the swamp-dwelling Kruleboyz or pierce the armour of the hulking Chaos Warriors.
The Cities of Sigmar are the gathering storm on the horizon, readying to drive back the murk of Chaos from the Mortal Realms. They will be leading the Dawnbringer Crusades as part of the next major narrative for Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Stay tuned to Warhammer Community for more news and reveals later this year.
With some great options on some overall sweet new models, Cities of Sigmar are looking to have quite the splash as a unique take on Humans in a fantasy world.

GW Reveals 6 Dynamic New Age of Sigmar Models Coming In 2023
Along with the new Dawnbringers Campaign books leading up to the reboot of Age of Sigmar in the summer of 2024, all four grand alliances are getting new releases!
The first one previewed is for Order, and this time the Fyreslayers are getting some love!
A Grimhold Exile is a rare sight even among the bloody-minded and death-defiant Fyreslayers – the sole survivor of a fallen magmahold, carrying with them the traditions and vengeful spirit of their lost home.
Nothing quite beats an angry dwarf, and this new character has plenty of reason to be upset!
These avatars of retribution wield weapons imbued with their magmahold’s portion of the Zharrkhul – the legendary Master Flame ignited at the moment of Grimnir’s death. Some seek to establish a new magmahold around their holy flame, while others undertake quests whispered to them by the Zharrkhul. Regardless of their purpose, these grim and superlative warriors will meet any foe in battle.
With all that rage in his tiny (and swole) body, expect this new model to be an absolute man-blender in melee.
As for where and when to get this sweet new mini, they announced he will be in one of the four new Regiment of Renown box sets that will release with the new Dawnbringers Narrative books.

Maggotkin of Nurgle
From a pus-coloured haze ride the Harbingers of Decay, envoys of entropy mounted on cadaverous steeds, hooves tapping out a terminal tattoo.
These pestilent prophets divine Nurgle’s will from the spread of disease through bodies and societies alike. Dour and humourless – in contrast to the Grandfather’s usual joyful entourage – they lead Rotbringer cohorts known as Shudderhoods, joylessly committed to undertaking unholy labours in the Plague Lord’s name.
Like the Fyreslayer, you can find the new Harbinger in his own Regiment of Renown box when the Dawnbringers books release!

Flesh-Eater Courts
The Marrowscroll Heralds are inspiring warrior-envoys, draped in fine robes and bearing elegantly-worded missives. At least, that’s how they appear to the deluded eyes of the gristle-chewing ghoul peasants that make up the Flesh-eater Courts.
After their new models yesterday, the Flesh Eater Courts are getting even more! This is shaping up to be a good year ahead for fans of the deranged cannibals on the tabletop!
To everyone else, the Heralds are hunched, sinewy creatures robed in flayed flesh. These scabrous delegates somehow act as vectors for the madness of the carrion kingdoms, spreading and magnifying the delusions that drive them. Rumours abound that the morbid messengers may even serve an ominous, higher power…
This new model is stunning, and like most of the Flesh-Eater lineup, it will fit in just fine hidden among the models on a tabletop.
This is the death option for Regiments of Renown when the Dawnbringers series launches.

Gloomspite Gitz
Most grots are known for being garrulous gitz – especially when there’s trouble to talk their way out of – but the Rabble-Rowzas are especially effusive, and go to war armed with the gift of the gab.
A motivational grot/git is not something you see or hear bout everyday, but now that we’ve seen it, we can’t un-see it.
Attended by a swarm of bat squigs and clad in suitably intimidating squig-skull headgear, these loquacious loonies bellow commands at surprising volumes, provoking even the laziest troggoth to shake off its torpor. A ranting Rabble-Rowza can gather great hordes of agitated cave-critters that flood from the tunnels, kickstarting a deluge of destruction that spells doom for all in its path.
This fantastic mini even has the great Bat-Squigs flying near him into battle! What a sight to behold!
As the Destruction Regiment of Renown, this model will be found in this box on Dawnbringers launch!
If you want to see more, you know what to do!
Orruk Warclans
Separate from the other releases, WHC showed off a new Ironjawz model too!
The mighty Maw-grunta is a big pig like no other. Dwarfing the Gore-gruntas that the Ironjawz love for their orruk-bearing strength and blind porcine fury, these hulking beasts are a true force of nature. A single Maw-grunta can smash through massed infantry like a like a boar in a china shop, paving the way for a brutal Ardboys charge.
Big Pig is right! This is a giant boar and is sure to have devastating charges to demolish enemy lines.
Covered in the trademark fist-forged armour plates of the Ironjawz, topped with a saddle made of bones, tusks tipped with choppas – these giant hogs are living battering rams with tempers as foul as the nastiest orruk.
Adding insult to (massive) injury, the Maw-grunta is big enough to have two orruks riding side-saddle, equipped with massive hooked blades for lopping the ’eads off anyone who thinks dodging to the side of this avalanche of fur and iron will keep them safe.
Is the stream, they also emphasized the possibility of making pig centered Orruk lists, so there might be some porcine synergy rules as well!
If you want to see more, they got their own (quite amusing) full trailer you can see below!
