GW Reveals Lumineth Shrine Luminor Rules
The new battletome brings you right up to speed with the ongoing narrative of the Lumineth Realm-lords and introduces the Hurakan. The Hyshian aelves who’ve become attuned to the spirits of the wind.
Just a friendly reminder. If you have the original battletome, Broken Realms Teclis is enough to update you to their current rules. This battletome just serves as a more convenient entry point for new army collectors/players. If you want to see all the releases coming with the book, you can check them out here.

Cleansing Rituals
The Shrines Luminor are free-floating metaliths that dot the Mortal Realms, repurposed by the Scinari with shrines dedicated to the aelementors they revere. By directing the natural flow of magic that congregates around these hovering islands, the mages of the Lumineth can cleanse corruption from geomantic ley lines and bolster their magical prowess.
Getting a re-roll for casting, dispelling, or unbinding is pretty nice on its own. But, on top of that, from turn two, if you have a Shrine Guardian (we’ll look at that rule next) you can increase the power to 24″. Meaning you should be able to get almost any mage in range of it.
Shrine Guardian
By garrisoning within the shrine, a Lumineth Realm-lords Hero becomes its Shrine Guardian, a figure of great reverence among their aelven comrades. Not only do the rituals allow a magic-wielding guardian to exercise greater control over their spells, but the position high above the battlefield gives those with command abilities a much easier time directing their troops.
This basically gives you a free command point every turn as long as you have a Shrine Guardian. When you combine that with the other free command point rules we’ve seen, you really can get a ton of Command Points with this army, meaning more actions!
Will you be adding a Shrin to your forces? What are you going to be pre-ordering on Saturday?
